So finally got around to opening the NA Seeker set... and all 3... Starscream, Thundercrakcer, and SkyWarp have super super basically non existent hip and ab joints??? Floppy city.

    WTF???

Really? Pretty much zero friction in these "friction joints". So is Kikis Loose joint liquid the best fix to make these bots somewhat stable? If I hold any one of the upside down, their legs will automatically split. Like a gymnast. Horrible quality control.

    Any other ideas???

I’ve never heard of “Kikis Loose Joint Liquid” before. Sounds like a cross between a dive-bar cocktail and a cure for arthritis.

That's pretty common actually - there's an FAQ about loose joints sonewhere. In a nutshell, people fix it with Future / Pledge floor polish or clear nail polish. A few people have used super glue - I stay far away. Nail polish has always worked for me.

Please keep in mind that the waist tabs into place when transformed correctly and shouldn’t be loose. The crotch piece that can act as an ah crunch can be a little loose, but none of my seven NA seekers have that joint so loose that I would want to future them.

That is for NA Bumblebee's gun, the bigger yellow ones for the NA carbots.
There is a promo shot on their weibo page with Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz and Bumblebee shooting up in the sky

Have any close up pics? Or a YT reference video? Most of the ones I found were summaries at best. Thanks.

Yeah, this is what it looks like when the chest isn't pushed all the way down:
    20191212_162729.jpg

    And pushed in properly:
    gan stars.jpg
You just got to push down until you hear a "click".

Is the claw thing that came with NA Outback and Brawn specially meant for NA Starscream or just ANY seeker, including the Coneheads?

It specifically references a scene from the Cosmic Rust episode where Starscream removes a shard of an infected meteor from Megatron. That said, I imagine it fits any of the jets and possibly some of the other figures with swappable hands. I don't know for sure since I don't have it. But I understand their hand pegs are fairly consistent in size. I think Soundwave may be one of the exceptions since his posable hands appear to include the ball peg.

Edit to add: see screenshot from Cosmic Rust in this earlier post here: NEWAGE TOYS H-13 Lucifer - Legends scale STARSCREAM (and Seekers?)

i don’t even recall Starscream using it except that one time. There were a lot of one-time tools/powers like that. There’s no reason to believe a claw tool is uniquely Starscream’s in my mind. But that’s the scene it pays homage to.

You know, with NewAge releasing a toy-based Soundwave, I wonder if there would be a market for toy-based Seekers (I know, I know, don't give them any ideas, there are already enough Seekers to buy). But I think a toy-based Starscream and Thundercracker in particular could look pretty nice. Starscream could have dark blue highlights, a single red stripe on the wings, a grey cockpit canopy, and sticker tampos. Thundercracker could be that deep metallic blue. They could both have all-black heads with gold eyes. And if you included a few optional stickers, they could do double duty as the Diaclone versions, as well.

I mean, just an idea for after they finish up guys like AM Thundercracker, Redwing, and G2 Ramjet and Starscream. :)
