Wow. I was going to post the exact same thing. I agree completely and I liked how this was a joke in IDW’s comics (Tankor).

I'm tempted to try to remove the green face and see if red can attach on that site.... but it feels like that was a "one-way" move and that something will break if I try to pull it off.... so I'm actually more tempted to file down the red face's attachment peg into nothing and just glue it on.

I don’t have a problem with name reuses. It’s been happening since Barrage and Sky High in G1. Its just annoying with Bluestreak’s case because they also use the same mold. Not a huge deal but it’d be nice if Hasbro renamed the blue one. We also need new character names for black Ironhide, red Mirage, and several Skids, Trailbreaker, and Hoist recolors.

 

The name of the boarding pass on the Ark was Bluestreak. I think the black and silver guy was an identity thief that stole Bluestreak's wallet!

 

I know you’re joking, but man, what if it turned out that the Bluestreak we know pulled a Dr. Smith and took the place of the original, who is now trying to reclaim his life.

 

I still promote the blue one going by the name Silverstreak.
