i am curious if he is still here in the states. or has he gone off the grid with his plan to infiltrate the MS headquarters and to swipe the proto.

 

Yeah I would LOVE to see some those turned into toys (especially the non-SD designs, but Blaster’s handle/visor is a dope idea)

This Arcee looks great, I’m definitely considering it. Not particularly into SD proportions, but with Transformers you see some unusually involved engineering in the figure’s head and that’s fun.

A few things I’d change if I had a magic wand:
- Add add another swivel just above the knee (the proper thigh swivel works too hard to maneuver around the crotch)
- Add forward and sideways swivels to the feet (sure it’s a small figure, but the legs barely do anything for transformation)
- I usually don’t bother with interchangeable hands, but I think they’d be worth it here
- I’d personally prefer if the car front sat flat against her torso, rather than “Datsun Bros” style

 

My god did that guy have some great designs. Also, didn't know he was the one who made those monster hunter box figures. Shame he didn't keep going after the first monster. Also that soundwave and the motormaster/prime idea looked tight! And the cassette designs, my god why isn't this guys designs produced more often? Gimme gimme gimme gimme!

 

After watching the video, wow! This figure is magical. Weapon storage, clean alt, clean bot, some clever engineering. Really excited for this one, and I hope we can get more SD figures like this in the future!

 

wow amazing transformation! who knew how much could be accomplished with such a big head. too bad that doesn't seem to hold true in real life, especially those in the gov't!  

 

I was surprised by the range of poses that she has.
I also didn't realize she even had a gun until they removed it during the first transformation.
I'll keep an eye out for her to come to a store (online) I know and trust

Was that monster hunter dragon not made by tye 52 toys guys? (Beastbox) if not those beast box toys are definitely worth a look, as they fit right in with that dragon

 

No I already have ghost dog and I do love him. My dissapointment is that we never got more from the line. A zinger was released, but they weren't mass produced, and just 3d printed. Its a shame because up until the monsterarts, a articulate mh figure monster never existed except overpriced revoltech. And I would have loved to pick up the zinger, and whatever design this artist made. Speaking if which, who is the designer? I may want to follow him.

 

Matrix Monster dragon was not by 52toys. It was revealed just after Dio hit the market. There were some articles about this floating around the Chinese web.

Is there a Facebook account out of curiosity? I have no idea how to navigate weibo in the slightest. Also, is there any indication that the designer or drawer is willingly giving the designs, or are they "borrowing the designs"?

 

He doesn’t use social media outside the Great Wall.   I’m not sure how it works but I guess he approaches the few 3Ps and sees if any are interested to buy his designs? Everything will be handled by these 3P companies then on.

 

Well thats good to know. Well, I pray that arcee sells well. Cause if so, maybe we'll get those other sd designs as well. Im praying for the soundwave and motormaster in particular. Thanks for the info.
