Well I figured out his ears and his smaller inner jaw, his face is also connected. right now I am trying to have the wheels and sides of the cab fold to fill out the sides of his face, but still not shire where the hood or bumper should go, any ideas?
I finally got my Overload! so now i can finally show off that alt head transformation i talked about a while back that puts the vortex part overload coems with inside the mixmaster's mixing drum components instead of clipping over top of them.
i garuentee its not, they just say that as incentive for you to buy it sooner so you dont "miss out."
Probably because they might be able to incorporate some of this into their custom. Rather than scratch build some of these parts, they could buy them and use them already sculpted.
It’s all good, I’m going with whatever works best, the less I scratch build the faster I can finish, but if I were to buy the whole kit to take and modify a part or 2 I’d be crazy. it is good to have the inspiration tho, so thank you.
Small update, decided to work on mixmasters hands to make them fold away and have more articulation. So far they fold closer to the wheel wells, and I’ll add a toolbox to cover them up. here it sits now, a slot cut into the wheel well to fit his finger, and the toolbox I stole from a rotf mixmaster. I’d say it now has much better possibility and articulation now, and doesn’t affect transformation. as always comments are always welcome.
looks sick and was almost exactly what i had in mind! they look so much more expressive too with the articulation improvements.
Update time, added some articulation to mixmaster and gave him a waist joint to make the transformation work, I’ll explain in the next update. here is his new arm look compared to the old and here’s the joints I added. Also here is the head folded up and expanded showing his “ears” the lower jaw isn’t attached yet, but I have that planned out. And lastly here is a look at some added joint to his foot to fold up more
awwww man it looks great. the tool box covers to wonders to hide the hand now. I noticed that you took my suggestion about flipping the ears inside out. which i think they look better now that the window isn't visible. i hadn't even considered the visible windows before, just that flipping them inside out would allow you to paint them red. im very curious to see what your going to do with the legs.
