Since the silhouette is of Potp Volcanicus, apart of me wants to say it's a G2 colored Dinobot set, but the the other side wants to say it might be Dinoking since him and Monstructor are some of the very few G1 Combiners that haven't had an update in recent years.

 

I wonder if I'm the only one who wants to see Volcanicus here be repainted in the AOE toy colors. I always liked how the AOE toy colors looked on the Dinobots in the AOE line despite not being movie accurate so it'd be fun to see this set homage those colors.

 

Would be cool to see PotP Terrorcons done up as the Infernocons (based on a few of them being Beast Hunters Terrorcon repaints) to match a release like that.

 

Ditto on both ideas.   Heck for Infernocus they could have the torso mode be a repainted Turtler repurposed as a dragon if they want to have Infernocus have a bit more distinction then the other Abominus repaints. I mean the original Infernocus set had a different torso to begin with anyway but hey I don't mind either method.

Not to be that guy, but the silhouette is only of PotP Grimlock's torso mode. Takara Selects have done wild things, so to assume the rest is just the other four Dinobots is fair...but it's hardly given.

But if trends continue they'll ALSO be selling the new Nemesis Prime. So the question is if they don't really care that we're getting 1-2 Studio Series Dinobots and just want to do their own thing for Selects.

Which I think is likely.

 

Was there a triceratops tape? Besides Slugfest/Overkill I know there was both a longneck and dactyl.

Ah crap. So it just dawned to me that I've oversimplified trying to figure this out.
1) We're only looking at the torso so we have no clues for the limbs.
2) Blue visor means Autobot/Maximal.

 

Just cuz I like purty pitchers, here's the most likely suspects:
Monstructor, G2 Volcanicus, Earth Wars Volcanicus, and DinoKing.

 

Fair Enough, I just assumed the other 4 Dinobots since they showed Grimlock's Torso mode. That being said, i think the Dinobots with some retooling would make a solid Dinoking, minus the fact that the torso is made of 2 Bots. It might be a C.W Liokaiser situation again.
