I can't see this scenario...1 because it was an extension, albeit an extreme retool of the original, and 2 they are 3rd party. It's not like back in the day where Sega/Nintendo sold their consoles at a -$10 loss but made up for it in the licensed games. There would be ZERO reason for any company like this to make a figure that loses them money. They could simply not release it, in light of the previous WJ and BMB versions.

To be fair, not a lot of people have the time or patience to learn an entirely new language that isn’t even close to their native one, for reviews.

    Yep, it's already release.

True. I’m Japanese so I can speak both Japanese and English but most of these early reviews of third party figures so it doesn’t even help in the slightest.

Sure, but there are plenty of reviewers I can't understand who still manage to convey the relevant information more clearly in less time. Wotafa and Sun of the Empire spring to mind.

It doesn't help that so many of these "first" reviews seem slapped together as fast as possible, for the sake of internet karma, rather than for production value or any sort of efficient usefulness. You watch them fumble and fiddle and ramble while they put the toy through its paces for the very first time, instead of preparing a script, and practicing the transformation a few times so they know how to keep the toy in the camera frame and actually show what needs to be shown, instead of also the five attempts they fumbled and forced pieces the wrong way and pop them off or damned near break them until they finally figure it out, and then have to do it over again because the shot was out of focus...

A five minute transformation and thought-share quickly balloons into 20 minutes or 40 minutes or an hour, with little of that runtime actually being useful information.

Reviewers like Wotafa know to be clear and concise in their speech and presentation, so even with the language barrier, their intent is loud and clear. Flipping parts back and forth and back and forth is like visual rambling, and obscures the end goal.

based on the video, at first i think he got no issue holding the mace off the ground.
but after i watch it again, i think the reviewer maybe just stick the edge of the mace to the white wall he uses as a background, and play camera angle to look like he can holding the mace off the ground no problem.

thats just my thought lol, hope the next review gives us a closer look at the robot mode articulation.
if he turns out can hold the mace off the ground with no problem, then my little nitpick about him was gone

Transformation seems fairly straight forward. Can't wait to have this figure in hand!

Definitely, happy to see the transformation isn't overly complicated. The mace transformation is more complex than the actual bot.

**Damn , already in stock at some US retailers like TCP and toydojo?** Shiet......too many toys coming at once.

Yep, Wotafa en Pancrazi come to mind here.

Even if you understand the language, they are still babbling, pointing, babbling, folding, unfolding, babbling again etc.
