Look at the red on his face and the black on his arms.

And look at it on the original reveal images.

Compared the cartoon as well.

the red’s gone to brown and the black around his forearms aren’t grey.

 

The faceplate is still red, just a bit darker than the initial preview version. Seems a pretty good match to the 'toon model image you posted, but again, red colours drastically change based on the camera and lighting (and computer monitor), so it's really hard to tell how it looks in person.

Seems like the forearms got changed to black plastic for the sake of the tread colours, but the paint allocations weren't updated to account for the miscoloured forearms.

 

I think Atlas's pics have other objects in the background of different colors and textures. That likely helped the digital camera stay true to the color. The camera likely auto-corrected the color; or possibly during edit of the pic. But keeply agree that lighting plays a huge role in the color.

 

I guess I'm minority but the black elbows don't bother me since there is a big black space on the animation model. I know it's not exactly the same, but it's not so different as to be a big deal.

 

I can’t find clear pics but watching it’s defo got higher red values.

I do hope it’s just lighting Casey it’s a really beautiful colour that isn’t present on the original toy.

I agree I wasn't a real fan of the all in one feet then I came across the upgrade kit and to me it put the cherry on top.

 

I love the extra commentary on the ratchet switching lol

 

Was the alternate head for swindle a new edition? My swindle came with an alternate head or is there a new new head? I came in late to this project so no idea if I missed some info.

 

This is what a few pre-order listings stated:

Its a different head- the ones that came with Swindle are different expressions, but they're painted wrong. The animation accurate head, his helmet has a noseguard. So his "nose" should actually be the same color as the rest of the helmet. I don't know if there was a miscommunication somewhere, but at some point someone forgot about that fact, so Fraudo's face got painted all grey, nose and all. Its why the bridge of his nose looks off, because its not supposed to be his nose at all

The new head coming with Brawl has the nose colored like the helmet to indicate its actually a noseguard.

 

@rubadubspawn All I can say is I've had Blast Off in hand for about a month now, and while my first impression of him out of the box was that he was a little underwhelming after leaving him at my desk and messing with him I think me might actually be my favorite of the set.

 

i love the way Blast Off sits on my shelf

 

Ok well since the set is almost complete time to purchase all of them  

 

First time I've put them all together.
Awaiting their final member to unleash all hell.
