Ok, I hope I'm just reading way too much into this, but hoping that by choosing a figure named Exitus/Getaway, MMC isn't sending a subtle message that they are closing shop due to all of the recent IP drama in China.
You probably are. I'd trust that a company keen on profits isn't making major business decisions based on how clever it would be as a commentary on real life events, even if it really is their last fig.
The base mold - Calidus is being reissued. Might as well take advantage of it and do Exitus, which was teased way back in the MMC comic. Also, have you not seen Optus Pexus?
I know there mtmte/lost light lol and that's why I said please keep making them, BUT to please not forget the characters I mentioned because it seems they never get any love, Especially the fembots.
Not to mention Tesarus and Deathsaurus still in the tooling/tuning stages, and Ocular Max Defensor in active development. Exitus is just a name. It's not like when Hasbro gave us "Omega Prime", he was literally the last Prime ever or something.

I have both MMC Calidus and SXS Hot Flame (Lost Light color), I've got Calidus leading my Lost light shelf, but can't wait to get Exitus so he and Hot Flame can re-enact the Lost Light issue 20 cover:
Wish Luminus would have seen a reissue alongside the original. Already have a normal which i'm replacing with the new reissue. Not sure if any store at all even carries Luminus still, bleh.

I see. I am doing something similar. I am actually breaking down my collection, specifically typical soldier to special forces. Using different decal insignias..For example I got DownBeat (Jazz)/ Warbotron computron/ Nicee ( Arcee Jazz's woman/ MMC roadbuster and another MMC figure that's IDW inspired as a Delta Squad, Jazz is the leader...What I am I going to do with this superion, is gonna be Primes Air Force... We're doing the same thing but a different way.
So here's the alt mode from the 1st page. I'm assuming these new shots are from a different test copy as they still have the Rodimus exhausts/ arm blasters instead of the smoothed arm guard things that Exitus has in bot mode? Or are they interchangeable?
