Poor Roadblock. I’ve bought 6 extra so far (4 CI, 2 regular) for customs so I’m doing my part to keep him from getting lonely on the pegs.
I really like how you trimmed the helmet here. That's one aspect of the new CC that I don't think looks very good. I feel like they were trying to make him look cooler and spikier, but I'm not a fan of the look.
So my CC order from Amazon is supposed to arrive on Thursday. Anyone want to place odds that it is delayed too? I’m assuming my Wave 2 figs won’t ship until October so I’m planning around that. Will help manage the expectation of Earthrise Wave 2 deluxes which should hit any week now and the Black Series I’m trying to find.
So we had to run out real quick for a few things and I decided to stop at a goodwill. Found this guy for $5. He came with some video game I think from what info I could find. I think he fits in scale with joes so this is gonna be my green suit joe generic figure I think.
Thanks!!! The gun is from marauderinc.com! They have a great selection of 1/12 scale modular weapons!!! New 6inch Joe team is shaping up nicely!!! GI Joe Classified Joe team! by ricemaster76, on Flickr
Are you on fwoosh by a different name. I saw a very similar figure there along with a freaking awesome flint custom.
Made out like a bandit today. Found my Sixth Baroness (still trading for cobra troopers), two red ninjas and a C.C.. My Cobra Com is completely screwed up. Asymmetrical helmet, sloppy paint apps, excessive paint all over the arms, a freckle on the visor and the sword is prebattle damaged. He is so bad, im thinking about selling him as a battle damage variant.
Just throwing this out there, I picked up the 3.75" GI Joe Retro Walmart Exclusive Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes for $5.40. If you're looking, could be worth checking your Walmarts.
The sculpt work is amazing, I love how they captured an asymmetrical helmet with destroyed brim. As if he suffered a great fall or was subjected to intense heat. C.C. is a paint sniffer, that's his crutch and why he fails as a commander. Again stellar story telling in the paint applications. Even the Serpent sword is pitted as if he left it outside on holiday in the Bahamas. Battle Damaged C.C. will be soon arriving in a late Wave 2 case near you! Look out for my feature on White Mascara Red Ninja.
Ah crap. My Walmart sucks but I've give it a shot. Hell I'll be happy to find these at the regular price, haha! I don't think the vehicles have been sighted yet, have they?
Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has posted their official rating summary for G.I. Joe Operation Blackout video game. Rating Summary: “This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of elite members of either Cobra or G.I. Joe forces through military missions. Players use firearms, laser blasters, and explosives to battle enemies (e.g., robotic troopers, battle androids) in frenetic combat. Battles are accompanied by large explosions and realistic gunfire; enemy robots explode into pieces when destroyed. A handful of missions allow players to operate vehicles with mounted turrets/cannons to destroy vehicles (e.g., airplanes, ground-based robots). A gallery image of comic-book covers depicts a character holding two bloody swords.” Based on the description, Battle Android Troopers will make their Classified Series Aesthetic debut with the upcoming video game. The rating also confirms that the player can drive vehicles and use turrets in addition to using firearms and explosives. The description also sheds a light on possible unlockables, which seems to be comic book covers akin to some video games from early 2000s. According to the ratings site, the game will release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and the next-gen Xbox Series X. Once again, the PC version is omitted as a platform.
