Probably my favorite masterpiece!
Honestly grapples not nearly as good, just not as elegant

 

I love MP Inferno, Grapple and Artfire. Grapple is my favourite as you can most likely guess. The paint chipping on Grapple as well as paint colour matching between parts is not great but the mould is fantastic. I ended up buying a second Grapple and swapping parts to make a near perfect copy. It would be great if Grapple got a reissue with better paint at some point. And I'm still waiting for a Hauler repaint. Maybe they're saving that for when the MP Constructicons are released (I hope!).

Honestly, I thought Inferno was SO awesome and so much better than the 3rd party versions that it killed my interest in third party products. I haven't bought any third party figures since.

 

I am with you. Bought Infero on a whim and absolutely loved him. Figured Grapple would go on sale eventually... The he just sold out. Hoping that Grapple gets another run so I can pick him up to join Inferno. In the meantime I got the Earthrise one as a placeholder in my mind.

 

I actually bought mine after a bad day, almost at random, just to cheer myself up. When he came I was enthralled. And those ratchets ;D

That would be much more expensive, as I'm in Europe. But I managed to find a place that still has him at a similar price (minus the taxes, duties and shipment). I think I may go for it.  

 

My bad. I should know better to assume folks here are in the U.S. Glad you found a site that has him without having to worry about paying duties, etc. You should get him.

I just ordered him. Its an Italian store, MadHouse, and they have some older MPs. Some prices are high, but some are actually ok, so people in Europe may want to take a look.

Hope it’s ok if I post a little in-progress shot of my custom MP-29 in here folks, just excited to be making progress!

I really prefer the smaller look of the eye in the cartoon, so I’m giving Shockwave a smaller one in the Shadow Fisher light-up head (so it’ll look bigger when it’s lit up, just like in the toon)





Really love the shade of purple I’ve found too, reminds me so much of how he appeared on VHS.
