I like these kind a fixes and appreciate your input on this. I'm not a fan of doing fixes either that are not reversible and envy those that can do it, especially customizing to correct bad design decisions that truly are improvements versus just fixes for a lower quality product like this seems to have. Unfortunately, still waiting for mine to arrive.......Nothing worse to see all these issues and fixes and no sign of getting yours soon to see what surprises await inside....

Guess they like me more Really though it's because I paid the extra $6 for shipping, which brings the estimate from 30-60 days down to about 2 weeks. Totally worth the money, IMO. I waited almost 2 months for Toyworld Freedom Leader (which wasn't even worth the wait) and that was just too excruciating.
I don’t remember seeing any option when I was checking out to pay extra for another shipping method. I’m someone that doesn’t balk at $40 EMS shipping charges on orders from Japan so I would have happily added $6 for this one.
Tried transforming this guy for the first time and boy was it a journey. I can see why some people don't want to transform him more than once, although I think trying it again a few times will make it less frustrating. Only problem I had was that one of the side parts of the truck didn't want to stay in but I think that's due to miss transformation. Now I just have to see about those knees and waist.
As I mentioned earlier Im pretty sure it went like this 1 - Pre-orders taken. 2 - Orders outstrip supply. 3 - More orders come in 4 - Shipping labels produced for everything. 4.1 - As many orders fulfilled as possible. 4.2 - Those that didnt get an order fulfilled are strung along, easy to do with current mail chaos and with a shipping label created. 4.3 - This is an unethical but sound business decision, if the orders were changed to "pre-orders" many would have took refunds and looked for in stock places. 5 - "Waiting" shipping labels are used as and when the stock comes in. After forcefully requesting a refund mine finally entered the shippers system today so I expect a shipment arrived yesterday so some others will probably see some movement too.
I'm in the same boat as many others. I pre-ordered from ShowZ as soon as it was available. Paid it off when I got the notice, and got shipping notification on 08/11. Nothing since. Still shows that a label was created, but the post office hasn't received the parcel. I did the free shipping. As I don't even remember an option for upgraded shipping. I probably just missed it. I finally got my notice to pay off my TE-01 V4 preorder last week, but haven't got any shipping notification on it yet. I'm sure it will be just as long of a wait as this figure. Ugh. I ordered something from TerryTFSClub and got those items in about 2 weeks. But I also paid for shipping with him.
No man, though everyone wants their stuff asap its better to be waiting in the wings while the "pioneers" work through the issues and @God Orion writes up a comprehensive fix list
Same - I emailed them earlier, fully prepared to spend the $30 or whatever they said DHL shipping was gonna cost, and I didn't even get the option to do so before my order shipped. Ah well, I know there's bigger things to worry about, it's just kinda frustrating to think I could've made this easier on everyone somehow
the extra shipping option might not have been available at check out, i requested mine way after i placed/paid off my order. there is option to add extra shipping to your order on the site. someone posted it in this tread but i can't find it.
That sounds about right. I LOVE ShowZ but their site isn’t the easiest to navigate. They have a lot of options and services but some are easy to miss and you kind of have to dig around to find others. Like the link you click when you receive your order, I’ve been using their site for years and I didn’t know that was a thing until someone here pointed it out last week. On a more positive note, thanks to the person that suggested using a GM17 Gundam Marker for Prime’s eyes. I tested it on my OS Bumblebee Optimus who had dead eyes (they light up) and it looks amazing. The color and metallic shine catch the light even in a dim room and really look nice. Hopefully the marker won’t dry out before KO44 gets here.
I am about halfway through my part of the PDF. Just transformed him after rebuilding him today: had to cut some plastic leftover from out the mold near the front grill (you can see it on the picture) so everything tabs way better now. Everything is flush. I will take better pictures once everything is done on him and the PDF done. I still have a few modification to do on him and to write the PDF. Also I will read this thread tomorrow as I did not had time to do so today to try help some of you out.
Yeah, sorry guys. Trust me I can feel your pain. I ordered mine on 8/25 and its already at LAX but the only choice available was $6 shipping. Apparently each region is very different in shipping time frames. These are the options showing to ship to my area of CA as of right now: And shipping is now actually only $5
Huh. I'm in MD. And apparently, it's a possible crapshoot as to whether the option is there, one guy on Facebook who's also in MD got his in like 2½ weeks after ordering it outright...because he paid the extra six bucks for shipping. Not sure why I never had the option or if pre-orders had anything to do with it.
I think something is wrong with the shipments, they must be saturated, in addition to using shipping managers who are still subcontractors for which those packages are the last in priority, because they pay less than if you contract directly with them, I have to Dunerunner and T03 not updated for 2 weeks and still who knows where ...
