Definitely not selling my Legends Wheelie, particularly if his only Studio Series entry is a non-transforming figurine.

I can't see them not doing a Voyager Wreck-Gar to scale with Voyager Springer. I think the guy not getting redone must be Perceptor. Motorcycles > Microscopes.

Does that imply we'll get '86 Prowl and Ironhide in Studio Series, though, even though we're JUST getting Earthrise versions now?

Probably not. I think the most obvious and reasonable interpretation of what Pixelmaster said is that all the significant cast members of the 86 movie, who last got major new figures during CW/TR, are getting redone in Studio Series 86/Kingdom except for one.

Makes sense; I'll go with that.

That would be wonderful - the Titans Return one especially the Hasbro version was a total headscratcher - the colors and look etc. When i first saw the preview pics i genuinely didn't realise who it was meant to be until i read the description. The Takara version was a bit better but that mold just wasn't great.

TR Kup’s deco was based on the original toy (and Marvel comic).. Legends was based on the cartoon.

Yeah I agree. I only bought the TR one because the alt mode was close enough. But everything else is a disappointment.

I'll probably repaint mine when I replace it with hopefully this better version.

I'm a little disappointed with this and would prefer a transforming one, but as long as he looks like he should onscreen. As much as his character is irritating as I always liked how he looked.

I like the TR ones better. I got the Legends Hot Rod and Kup for the Targetmasters, but frankly I likely gonna end up selling both.
If I wanted cartoon colors Kup, there is the Generations picKUP truck version.
The new Hot Rod has to be really good for me to get, since I already have the first Masterpiece, Classics and TR versions, not to mention G1.
Also iffy on Cyclonus. I am fine with the Universe toy (or rather his Hot Rod/Galvy three pack version) and I have CW Cyclonus for toy accuracy.

And that's great that you do. :D

I however would like to see one without the gimmick at some point. Hopefully soon, but probably not, still... I remain hopeful. :)

I am so hyped for some of these listings. TFtM is the one element of G1 I genuinely, truly adore.

Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime are bought on issue. Hot Rod is my favorite TF of all time, and I have every official Hot Rod ever released. Not about to break that streak now.

I'm hoping Kup and Blur are good. I liked the CHUG releases, particularly Kup. And the TR versions are both decent. The Kup figure has some clever engineering as well.

But Cyclonus and Galvatron are where all my hype lives right now. My two favorite Decepticons deserve amazing figures. The CHUG Cyclonus is good, but not great. And Galvatron hasn't had a worthy release since his original G1 toy. Come on Hasbro, blow me away with these two. I am ready.

They'd have to be something hella special for me to replace my TR Legends LG25 Blurr or Siege Springer. But I'm still holding out for a worthy Hot Rod so bring it on!

If anything, maybe just re-release him, just as they did Astrotrain, Rung, and the Micromaster Combiner pack in Earthrise, because he was a tail-ender and hard to find.

Springer wasn’t a tail ender, he was in wave 3 of 5

Ah, yes, I misremembered. I do recall distribution of that assortment being rather spotty, though.

Yea, and it didn’t help that he wasn’t repacked in wave 4 or 5
