    THIS.
Nike has already dropped Amazon, Zappos, and other retailers. They don't need them anymore, and hope to boost their brand name/image by taing more control.

    Thread cleaned.

Please familiarise yourselves with the following, if you have not already done so:

    3.a No Direct Covid-19 Discussion
Discussing the event directly - it's origins, it's current state, what organizations and governments are doing - is disallowed here. Casual reference to it in the course of normal hobby discussion is OK. AKA - factory delays, retailer issues, event cancellations. Please see here for a deeper explanation of our stance.

Further discussion about COVID will be reviewed to determine whether it goes against this rule, and may result in warnings being issued.

Say what you will, I think what they have is genius. Instead of us all having to wait half a year for 16 or so figures that were leaked the night before to be revealed, we have a reveal every single week. Thats a great way to keep you buyers actively engaged and gives us something new to talk about each week.

Now if it could all stop getting pushed back(due to events we are not allowed to talk about), it would be perfect.

It’ll be a major missed opportunity if Hasbro doesn’t have some sort of Star Wars panel on May 4.

It’s interesting that they don’t have a contingency plan in place, beyond just cancelling the show and moving it to 2022, if they aren’t able to hold it. I would think they would have something in place. Wouldn’t toy companies still want to advertise their news figures and merchandise? Or is it going to be what happened this year with the video game industry where all of the different game developers showed off their games in their own livestream events since E3 wasn’t able to happen?

I don’t understand why they don’t simply host it in a virtual capacity. I saw why they aren’t doing that, and I get that people long for the days before COVID hit, but do we actually expect things to be any better by then? I’m trying to stay positive but after the absolute shit show that’s been happening in the political world, I just don’t see things improving until a vaccine is available.

I am a Star Wars Fundamentalist and hold May 25th as the true Star Wars day. None of this reformist nonsense.

That said, do we have a Transformers day? Should we? Would it be the day the toys dropped? Do we even have that day? The premier of the comic? The cartoon? Some weirdly awful number based pun?

Don't worry. The YouTube Trio will have revealed the entirety of 2021 long before Toy Fair. LOL

Considering Star Wars has been a missed opportunity since Disney bought it, aside from Rogue One and Fallen Order, it would be par for the course.

I wonder if this will affect the reveals for anything. Say if they reveal wave 2 of Kingdom and yet it's will release around the same time, maybe sooner before Toyfair.

If Toyfair and the comic conventions were the only way of getting new reveals, I'd be dismayed.
However with the onslaught of leaks these days, Im sure we wont be lacking for news.

Plus, I'm sure Hasbro will do small events like Mega Monday, Terrible Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Titanic Thursday, and Fabulous Fridays to whet our appetites.

I would be surprised if this date is still up.  Considering NY keeps shutting down parts of the city now.  In six months from now, I don\'t see NY fully open like it use to be.  Get ready for some disappointing news.
