From the 4 upcoming planets who from those planets do you guys think might be in the packs?

And please suggest characters who are from the planets, and not characters you think should be from those planets.

 

That's a pretty arbitrary statement when you really have no idea who Hasbro is going to say is from those planets. I mean... you could make some educated guesses based on other media, but this isn't that. This is a whole new universe with it's own story.

 

I said what I said based on the fact that Lifeline is from Paradron, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with the other planets.

Also what's the point in picking these planets if you don't use characters from the planets.

 

Transformers media is fairly unclear about who would be found on a lot of the planets.

 

Here's my guesses using characters from the Planets.
Dominus (Master) - Abel and/or Jack
Micron (Micro) - Clipper and/or Holi (with cartoon colors)
Biosfera (maybe Beast) - White Leo or Alligatron (as robots)
Botropolis - Speed-Bot or Aero-Bot

 

Yeah, that's kind of my point. The only one that was ever a sure-fire bet out of the five planets we've been given is Paradron... and consequently, it was the first one they revealed. We can make educated guesses based on previous media but there's no guarantee they'll stick with that for this.

Case in point, Biosfera, the only reference to that planet previously was on a map included with the 2016 SDCC pack. I mean... we can deduce from the lack of Animatros and Eukaris that it probably is their replacement but both planets had completely different inhabitants in their respective media. In IDW Eukaris was shown to basically be where most of the Beast Wars guys were from in that continuity and in Cybertron/Galaxy Force Animatros had a bunch of all new at the time characters. Which group of denizens shows up on Biosfera? Or both? A lot of people seem to be crying "KINGDOM!" for this and I just don't think so. I still strongly think the Kingdom storyline will involve time travel... especially since the leaked artwork shows the Golden Disk rather prominently.

 

It could be possible that Biosfera is the new planet of the Rock Lords or the Beastformers for all we know.

 

Again, that's my point... we have no idea who Hasbro is going to throw on these planets despite some having been mentioned in other places.

 

We will find out in 28 days with the Micron pack.

Since this is the war for repaints trilogy I don't expect any characters that are really appropriate for those planets.
I think the best we can hope for is something like Armada Wheeljack, Detritus, and Glyph. Paradron Medic was appropriate, but she's not an original mold either.

 

Yes, I know. Personally, in my mind:

• Needlenose - Tetra Jet retool
• Sideswipe - Siege retool
• Skids - Heavy retool of Hoist
• Gears - New mold; remolded into Swerve and Smallfoot. Same treatment as the ER Ironhide mold.
• Metro Squad (oiler and slide) - Small retool of Direct Hit and Powepunch
• Target Master - I don't really know who it will be, if Pointblank - Punch, and Sureshot - Mirage.
• Lift Ticket - Hoist Repaint
• Botanica - Kingdom Black Arachnia Retool

 

I did a little digging, and when the Siege micromasters 10 pack came out, Irontread and Ricon used the face/chest pieces of Big Hauler & Hydraulic, members of the Monster Truck Patrol. Is it possible we might finally see them in the Micron pack?

Another thought: if the Micron pack is indeed another 10 pack like some people have suggested, it would finish off the missing patrols & squads: 2 members each for the Construction, Air, and Monster Truck Patrols, & Metro and Constructor Squads. Come on Hasbro, we're so close!

 

I'd like to see one of the sets include an ER Blaster w/ Rewind, Steeljaw. We need to get an in scale Blaster to go with Siege/ER Soundwave.

I don't know if Leader class would be feasible, but I'd like to see the Micron set include a remolded Doubledealer to make Countdown's rocket base.

 

My Micromaster priority now is completing Hot House and Greasepit. It’s not right to have their bases but not the Micromasters themselves.

 

having 10 micro masters in one set would would send it over the price point of $39.99. The set would also still need to include a character from the ark. Best case scenario for a micron set would be one deluxe class figure and 4 micromasters

 

Going by precedent and the way Hasbro uses fan vote molds, Mirage isn't likely to see reuse as anyone other than Mirage

Thats assuming all of the sets are $40. And it would need to include a character from the Ark or Nemesis. Micromaster pack would be the perfect place for Buzzsaw to finally see a release

 

Not to disagree, as that's probably the likely case, but wasn't the Target Exclusive Micromaster set retailed at 39.99? I seem to remember it coming slightly under market value for ten Micromasters at the time...

 

$50, $5 per micromaster.

 

If we are going by precedent then $40 is what we got. The bio for these sets is pretty clear that an autobots or decepticon that is from the ark/ nemesis is sent on a mission. Never said they won’t do a buzzsaw.
