That prime would be perfect if it had yellow eyes I think. I like the darker elbows. Not sure about the window color.

The real question is, are the red eyes light piping or are they painted over the existing yellow light piping?

 

Chances are HIGH the eyes on Soundwave will be toy accurate yellow, red in terns of toys has been often attributed to Soundblaster.

What are the chances this mold gets an SB retool? High or Low they may wish to leave that posibility open.

I personally would not mind both having red eyes but they likely dont take these choices lightly. Must also factor in continuity, Siege SW had yellow eyes and this is meant to represent the exact same character from the same continuity

 

current prediction: doubledealer will be retooled/ heavy remolded into dreadwing with g2 smokescreen who'll be a remold of core starscream

 

I don't mind if Soundwave has a yellow visor since I believe matches better with the yellow paint apps it has. Plus, I think red is a better fit for Soundblaster.

 

I really like that soundwave. Just wish it was able to fit g1 and masterpiece size tapes. I dont like the smaller ones.

 

I'm considering getting Nemesis. I like his deco more than the Takara one - especially the sword.

Netflix ER Prime is an easy pass. The regular one looks much better, so I'll be getting that one instead.

This Soundwave though ..... I just don't know. It's tempting because I'd like a Soundwave with that alt mode for the sake of G1 nostalgia. Siege Soundwave looks better in bot mode though, and I don't like the idea of having to pay for Ravage and Laserbeak when I already have them from Siege. The eye color isn't a big thing for me though. I prefer yellow, but red would be fine.

 

Love how Soundwave looks! Hopefully I'm as lucky with finding this wave as I was with the last! Found I believe every figure at my local Walmart for the last wave, but this wave is a lot more exciting.

 

Soundwave was ninja'd from my cart when the pre-order originally went up. I suppose I'll find him in the store before the actual release date.

 

I really really hope we get a Soundblaster from this walmart remold. It would make some more sense to my kids with the siege one being a clone . and the walmart being the headmasters JPN series Soundblaster

Ah man... I preferred the yellow eyes on Soundwave.
I hope Toyhax gives us yellow eye stickers when they release the set.
I also hope I can actually find the damn thing when it gets released.......

 

I think it’s more likely that the eyes will be yellow, but that promo image looks like red light piping, at least to me. While I prefer my Soundwave to have red eyes, it’s never a dealbreaker for me, and I’ll end up keeping Siege Soundwave cause I actually like his vehicle mode.

 

How would that even work?

 

Mine aren't loose, but it's a weird accessory since there are two pegs on the arm cannons. It's not a perfect fit on the the arms since there's a little bump on Siege OP's arm panel that keeps it from fitting closer.

I was hoping Prime\'s red plastic would be more vibrant than the original\'s plastic but it doesn\'t appear to be the case from these photos.  Thoughts?

Both are triple changers with massive shoulder cannons. The most challenging bit would be taking the bird wings and head with jet wings and a cockpit. A faux cockpit would work for the chest and would have a similar place in artillery mode
