Wonder Park (6.5/10) - This film is a mess. It already had a bunch of controversy given it's director was fired for behind-the-scenes allegations and the story was in limbo for a number of years, but the film feels like it is having a crisis on just what it wants to be.

They want the film to be about a young girls' optimism to be creative, but then the film wants to explore some rather dramatic territory usually reserved for the likes of Pixar, but which this film can't quite bring itself to fully commit to. Supporting animal characters rise just a little above what I would have expected from films of this caliber, but that isn't saying much. A good example is we find a blue bear character has sudden bouts of sudden narcolepsy...but we never know if he had this trait before the events of the film, or if what befalls the theme park caused this.

There also is the weird factor that the park June and her Mom imagine is called "Wonderland," and yet this film is called "Wonder Park" (the original title was just the very unimaginative, "Amusement Park"). Plus, the logic of how/why/wha- regarding Wonderland's existence gets a bit too convoluted to understand after awhile, let alone people just materialize happily within it's walkways, and have no problems being put on seemingly dangerous rides that could kill you with one wrong move. One ride is basically a giant machine tossing you in a ball across a large expanse, to hopefully be caught by another giant machine at the receiving end.

    Clueless - 9/10

I haven't seen this in a while and it still holds up well. The writing is amazing and I forgot how short the movie is, compared anyway to movies of today.

I saw the 2010 True Grit a few months ago. It's good. I still need to watch the originals at some point.

Watched a few DC Animated movies last week. Enjoyed them for the most part.

    Justice League Dark - 8/10

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War - 7.5/10

    Flashpoint - 6.5/10
Woulda been higher but the art style kept distracting me from the movie itself.

    Green Book (2018). 9/10

Serious subject matter but it was a fun and enjoyable!

I didn't realize this was a 1/2 Farrelly Brothers directed movie or that it had won Academy Best Picture!

Both Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali is fantastic.

Aggretsuko season 3 was... different from the usual setup. It gave us a different take on Retsuko's unfortunate life, but it was a little jarring when it's barely in the company and without the usual cast.

The more I watch it the worse it gets. I’ve only seen it twice too.

I've yet to see it once. Star Wars was a central part of my life for the first few decades of my life, but after the Last Jedi, the Star Wars fandom poisoned me on the franchise as a whole. Haven't watched the Mandalorian, either. Star Wars fans can have that stuff and I want nothing to do with them.

Yeah I’d just recommend reading the Thrawn trilogy instead

I feel like I'm the only one that liked TLJ. :lol
TROS should have just kept on that track instead of trying to (and failing to) please a fanbase that already hates everything to the point of online harassment and death threats.
