Glorious photography! Reminds me I need to put a symbol on mine!

 

I spoke to someone on August 3rd at TFSource and they told me FT fulfills orders in small waves to retailers and the retailer fulfills orders as they were placed. I don’t know if this is something to do with FT and their financial agreement with the factory and production or something? (I’m only speculating, so don’t everyone jump on me about that.) I just don’t understand the rationale behind filling orders at such a slow clip for one of the bigger independent toy retailers. Maybe BBTS is going through this too? At this point I don’t really care about getting it and I’m half tempted to just cancel and never use TFSource again. Several people received their figure back in mid/late July so to be knocking on September and not have orders filled is a little much to ask. To me anyway.

 

I don't blame TFS at all. They can't control how FT operates. TFS ships orders from 5 mins away from me so I usually get stuff as soon as they get it in.

It seems like a poor choice for FT to be reissuing numerous figures when major retailers are still waiting on stock of something new for two months.

Just placed an extra Hunk MISB in the sales thread.

 

Just got Hunk in today. I was kind of surprised when I opened him, as the green on this guy is much lighter than I thought it would be. The pics everyone has posted make him look just a shade darker, and in hand he is just a bit off to me.

I like the sculpt, and can make due with the lack of articulation. This isn’t the home run I thought it would be though, oh well.

 

Not sure if mentioned before, but I have noticed that the weapon can be stored in robot mode in the sides of the back of the figure.



It fits very securely and doesn't feel like it forces the plastic or similar.

 

Got Hunk on Friday.

I like him; Definitely more than Sheridan. So much so, that I paid the ridiculous price for Dunerider, even though I do NOT like the white paint on it.

People that are fanatical about articulation will not like him. He's a bit limited in that respect, but is he a looker!

I guess that's it. I do hope that FT can start a series of QC-free products.... I feel like they should have a sign on their site similar to those xx days since an injury/accident - "two successive releases without a QC/QA/materials issue".

 

Just popped in to say I love this little guy. My Season 1 collection is finally complete.
