"I had a good time, no alcohol required" "B" Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 79% - "As wholesomely goofy as its heroes, Bill and Ted Face the Music is a rare long-belated sequel that largely recaptures the franchise's original charm." Metacritic Score: 66 out of 100
Just watched it. 8/10. One gag call back at the start had me howling with laughter. I laughed and smiled a lot during this. It is not as good as the first two, but considering 27+ years since the last time it is still very well done. Spoiler: Joke that had me laugh at the start In Excellent Adventure, Bill's dad married Missy who was a senior in high school when they B&T were freshmen. In Bogus Journey, she had divorced him and married Ted's dad. In the credits of BJ there is a newspaper that has here marring the bad guy De Nomolos. FTM opens with Missy marring Ted's little brother Deacon. Great way to keep a gag running. Also the two writers once again cameo. In EA they were the Ziggy Piggy guys, in BJ they were idiots at Missy's seance. The make a cameo here too. But won't spoil it, but i knew it was them right away. great to see lots of call backs. This film becomes a bit if a hybrid of the first two. It does feel like a good encore to the series.
I hated it. Not even hyperbole, I flat out hated it. Just missed the mark by thirty years. That said, every time they said MP-46 I kept thinking Blackarachnia...
I agree it’s was an 8/10 for me. It was just another Bill & Ted movie but it worked really well and feels like it fits in with the other 2 movies.
good movie, had me very happy and entertained and envoked a lot of the humor and style of the original. agree with most others saying its a solid 8 / on par with the original. sheisty future bill and teds definitely stole the show, those dudes were hilarious
I keep seeing the commercial a million times but i really wanna see this movie. Its not playing in my area yet but in time I'm sure.
This is playing at the drive in this weekend but it's stormed so had to pass friday. RT score is 81. Not bad at all. Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020)
It's like trolls world tour. VOD and big screen at the same time. It's playing in alot of the drive ins also.
I love the first two movies and the Cartoon. This movie I was getting flashbacks of Hangover 3 and Hot Tub Time Machine 2. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fun, for the most part, they took all the 'staying positive even when faced with impossible odds' out of B&T. 5/10
I watched it free on Vumoo.to. I loved it. It wrapped up the trilogy nicely. I always wondered how they would handle the song at the end & they did an awesome job. Total surprise. Nothing like I expected.
I haven't seen Face the Music yet, but I do remember when they had an animated series (and if I remember correctly, the actors voiced their characters for at least the first season)
Just watched it last night. Sadly, I have to go with a 4/10... and had to watch something else to get that "dirty fell" off of me. While not horrible, it was ridden with just bad writing. Spoiler: Tried to not give much away The main plot was worn out in the original 2 movies and they should have had a totally new situation. The daughter's thing, while the girls' acting was fine, it felt cheap that they went with this scenario that has already been done to death. The whole thing (since the beginning) revolved around the whole magical song thing, and the end left me fairly bland, as the actual music in the movie kinda really sucked. They tried too hard to go "big" and missed the mark with going with 3 (almost 4) "stories" at the same time. So sadly, while the 2 originals are movies that most remembers, this one is forgettable and missed it's mark, it felt more like a "conclusion" movie for a TV series that just doesn't have the budget nor the writing talent to really pull it off. A bit like that last Rambo movie and so many other "let's dig up another/final episode out of this old hit series and see if it'll stand on the strength of the originals". Most will enjoy it more for just seeing the guys back after so many years.
I've heard pretty good things about this one, that it's cheesy and overall kinda wholesome. It sounds like I'll enjoy it from what my friends have told me anyways.
