I thought she’d helped with the album of the first one, but maybe I’m mixing it up with Jay-Z who I’m more sure about. It seems unlikely that she won’t be on the soundtrack to a song for one of the BP films. Kendrick did great with the first film’s soundtrack though.
Oh thank God. After civil war and infinity war I actually want to see the character and we don't need bland crap like that holding it down.
Given how the first BP film was an overrated mess, not gonna say I have much hope for this movie. Completely wasted Andy Serkis' immense talent in favor of a poor imitation of Killmonger, though I am curious to see if the rumors about Namor and Atlantis are true (if they haven't already been confirmed) and how they'll mess up portraying Namor. The big final battle between T'Chaka and N'Jadaka is hilarious because it's two invincible skin-suit wearing CGI men batting at each other with absolutely no tension. Also didn't like how plain and boring Man-Ape was, though I thought the actor was a good choice. Needed the Albino Gorilla pelt. I'm fine with them not calling him Man-Ape and just M'Baku though frankly I found their reasoning to be wishy washy, but at least give him the pelt. It would've been amusing if a character called him 'ape man' or something.
There were some reshoots in late October, and the work didn't come until late December. So they had to crunch 2 months to create the final battle scene.
I had heard a rumor that M’Baku will become more of an antagonist in this one which seems stupid since him being a supporting hero has been one of the most refreshing surprises from the film. And it would really suck if he went from one of the many heroes called in to help fight Thanos both times to being another villain. I like that M’Baku’s temperament is much like a real gorilla: normally reclusive and peaceful, but a complete handful if you piss him off or touch his shit. And a vegetarian.

Black Panther was not my favorite MCU movie, but Boseman did give his best to the character. I am not familiar with his other works, but may he rest in peace.
