I though the #0 issue was the best TF comic I’ve read in like a decade.

It was so amazing having every character act in character...

The Secrets and Lies series is fantastic. If you were a fan of the Marvel US and UK runs, then you'll feel like this keeps the same energy going.

If you're new to this story, you'll still enjoy it. These are tales where you don't need explosions on every page. You've got a slow build with some epic moments in between.

Damn all the artists... I want all the covers now!!!!

That MLP preview really highlights how poorly FIM prorated it's male characters.

Love those 84 comics it shows how accurate generation 1 toys are in scale with another scorponock transform in to city with head master shouldn’t be same size as straxus he should be bigger I can’t say much transformer toys will never be in scale with one another and same can be said 84 comics,.

My little pony crossover I say original my little pony movie as kid I don’t watch my little pony no more unless it original version I will only pick this up I like transformers crossovers maybe someday we will get more different crossovers by buying good and bad transformers cross over books but like ghostbusters crossover I was disappointed with I’m not really liking this pony cross over I will give it chance after I buy tpb

84 is looking great, but that's to be expected at this point.

Despite how the MLP crossover isn't the most engaging, those panels with Spike and Grimlock are adorable as fuck and I'd read more of these two. Since Spike didn't really have many male role-models it's nice to see him with the Autobots here.

80s cartoon and 80s comic represent. we don't need much else other than more 80s movies crossovers.

He was never a giant city-former in the Marvel comics. Neither was Fortress Maximus.

Who's in Bludgeon's group? Stranglehold, Octopunch, Ripper-Snapper of the Terrorcons, Cindersaur(?) of the Firecons and... ?

Edit: Afterburner of the Skyscorchers (aka Snipe).

I fuckin' wish. But nah, more bland writing and artwork instead! IDW2 is like flavorless oatmeal, it's so bland and unremarkable.

    If only.... : D

Another killer preview. Man what an awesome series.... I like how Thunderwing (who isn't a Pretender yet because Scorponok hasn't invented the tech yet) is still familiar looking due to the gold head and sharp teeth. And while Straxus is inked in an Akin/Garvey kind of way, Scorponok has the Stephen Baskerville style swirly inking. Nice touch!

The old classic style art and period this series is set in is greatly appreciated.

I think I\'m going to buy it.

I love that image of Star Saber on the cover. I would definitely hang that up on a wall. Only thing that would make it better would be if Cyclonus were reflected in the blade instead of Staxus. The old school art for this series is on point.

It’s actually Sparkstalker. He should be more pink than purple, but he has white instead of Cindersaur’s yellow.

Also, I do like to see the inner robot forms used rather than the usual Pretender shells. That’s a good touch.

The personalities of Straxus and Thunderwing seem a little off, but that can be put down to them being much younger and less experienced than they are in the original comics. Straxus here isn’t as single-mindedly violent and arrogant as he would become.

It literally can all fit between the panels of the original Marvel G1, at least so far. Furman even got to put in a few retcons and finally got to take the "Savage Land" out of the story. I think all he needs now is an issue to explain away Spider-Man and the entire U.S. storyline could be presented completely Marvel free.

Well, almost everyone. Optimus apparently had a brain transplant with Niles Caulder.

Wow, pre-pretender Thunderwing, Bludgeon, Octopunch, Stranglehold... Terrorcons and Firecons. Love it. Hmm is that also G2 Afterburner?
Seems weird though why Straxus is always floating on a hover platform. He has a flying cannon mode, remember?
I like that they gave Thunderwing\'s inner robot a face more like the shell\'s, with fangs (the original has none). And indeed, Prime\'s sacrifice just created more tyrants. Guess Trannis is not around in this continuity.

Looking forward to what role Star Saber has here!

Wait, you don't want your ongoing to be standing and talking in Tumblr tier-art? Heresy!
