If so, he SO should have used 'blam' instead of 'bang'.

but then it would have been on the nose a little bit...

It would seem the Smyths exclusives are time limited.

5 off 25 at The Entertainer btw.

I'd laugh if it turned out to be Ratchet & Lifeline, and he suddenly finds all non-US comments are increasingly vehement, exponentially explicit, and worryingly personal death threats! :ev:

    But, no, it's probably Warpath.

Collecting toys is not meant to be stressful. I do not want it to be like booking a Hilton room at TFN.

    That is all.

Hard agree. I've definitely lost interest in keeping up with the constant stream of reveals and leaks and leaky reveals and revealing leaks. We get a blurry leaked photo, speculate until our nads fall off, preorders go up and are sold out before you've had time to say "preorders are up", how very dare you not to be online at that exact instant, Hasbro does a dramatic reveal pretending they're giving us exclusive access to top secret information, then it turns out it's restricted to only being sold in a chain of discount chickenwire stores in northwest Alabama. And then the cycle continues over, and over, and over, and over.

Here's the thing. I could forgive all that if it were at least fun, but it's not. It's exhausting. Kingdom's not going to show up for ages yet, Earthrise hasn't even released the wave 2 deluxes. I don't need to know what toys are going to be released 12 months down the line. I don't know what I'll want to buy or own that far in advance. Hell, I don't even know what my life will be like that far in advance. Essentially we're being asked to make plans on buying toys with at least 6 months if not 12 in hand, and that's not an enjoyable way of doing things.

There's a bunch of problems, and they do need solving.
    • Hasbro needs to get a handle on security at their factories. There's way too many leaks getting out.
    • Splitting a product line into a gazillion different exclusive splinter lines that require shopping at a gazillion different outlets is confusing and exhausting.
    • Products need to remain available for longer (putting on my old-man rose-tinted pipe and slippers, remember G1, when an entire year's releases could be found on a shelf together? I mean, I don't, I was 5 or something at the time, but still)
At the moment this is beginning to feel like work. These are toys, man.

I had the Robot Masters deco of that fella. He was great. Loved the pistol and silencer combo that stashed in his legs. Opened up the drawer where he was kept one day to find the plastic on his thigh joints had completely perished and broken in several placed. Unsalvagable. Threw him away. I miss that dumb bastard.

    ---

Aaaanyway, I'm still arse-deep in Oblivion these days, despite it's absolutely paper-thin approach to world building (Bethesda had clearly done absolutely zero research into how medieval societies operate and it's almost funny how nonsensical the world seems to work) and minuscule cast (spend all your cash on hiring Patrick Stewart, Sean Bean and Terrence Stamp, and literally every other character is voiced by the same 11 actors) I'm just having a lovely time. I just finished powering through the main quest, as the constant opening of hell-portals was starting to get annoying. Now, just to save the world from an ancient elf-hitler back from the dead, ruin someone's dinner party with demon magic and head off to the land of the god of insanity, and I'll be ready to move on to Skyrim.

Oh, and everyone? Don't forget to-

I’m aware Earthrise Snapdragon is out online but popped into Smyths this morning to see what’s what and they had lots of him on the shelves :)

Thought I’d pass the info along ;)

I found this one on Ebay which suggests seller in in London £26 - Transformers Power of the Primes Voyager Hun-Gurrr Action Figure 15CM Toy | eBay
or there's always hzj401 from China £15 - HASBRO Power Primes Abominus Hun-Gurrr Rippersnapper blackwing moonracer jazz... | eBay
although you'll probably be in for a couple of months wait with China? o_O

Yup, BBTS and others now have the first spoiler box too.

Entertainer is always low on stock and take forever to restock, but you might get Cyberverse, SS, Lego or WWE or something.

Nah, '96 was the worst for me, followed by '05 and '12. Actually this year isn't even 4th worst but I don't really want to go down memory lane to work out how many more shitty years there have been than this...

In better news (hopefully, barring any unfortunate Production QC issues, and/or other mood dampeners) it seems Rotors is already at Atherstone PSC, talk about a Turbomaster!!!

TBH I wish if they must have exclusives they'd go the timed exclusive route and/or something like the Jiggawatt thing so the 'exclusive' version has some unique thing to that version but a more general release version still comes later. Sure depending on the exclusive thingy would still be semi divisive depending on what it is, but it's still preferable to having figs basically not available and in the long run Hasbro makes more money.
