so I was in a skype call tonight with a couple of anonymous transformer bros from 4chan and we were just hanging out and talking about the Kingdom line and everything.. well one thing led to another and they started screen sharing. the one guy who claimed to be a forum mod wouldn't give his name or anything for fear of losing his job, his house and his family because of big pappa Hasbro coming down on these leakers like a broken piece of flex tape accidently clicked on a special top secret society tab on his browser and we all caught a glimpse of Kingdom Terrorsaur!!! I couldn't believe my eyes! Luckily I was able to snap a screenshot real quick so I could share it to the boards where all the cool normal transformers fans are you know the ones that are not part of the secret society and the transformers freemasons and everything... well here you go check out this SWEET Kingdom Terrorsaur!!!

To the credit of TFW, this site didn't include the video links in the news page postings (at least the news postings I saw), just screen caps, so that it didn't send a lot more people to the video as an instant click... so that they didn't earn more money to encourage others to compete for that same financial return.
Unfortunately, this site did still did up the news postings of suspected stolen goods in fear of losing valuable site traffic and members to competitors, but still blacklist the BotCon people (old and new) who's news updates are legal.

As for permission or consent, the only party that can give that are the owners of the items or intellectual property... not anyone else who benefits from a crime, no matter how much the other people beg or encourage it. It is still the choice of the individual to decide if they want to do something that they know is a crime.

Warpath has been shown in the toon to ram Blitzwing, who was the same size in tank mode. And he was as tall as the other Autobots.
Many minibots who had alt modes that are supposed to be large WERE large in the show. We had Powerglide carry Bumblebee lying on his wing!
Probably that's why we once got an Ultra class Powerglide and the previous Warpath was Deluxe as well.
I frankly don't need another tiny Warpath. We already got that toy as a Legends/Legion scale figure a decade or so ago.
The new toy looks very nice, and has a G1 styled alt mode as opposed to a H-tank like the previous ones. Btw, any military fans here know if Warpath was based on an existing tank?

Ah, are we finally talking about Warpath? Because that figure looks really promising overall... except for the awful hollow unpainted forearms. The bare white/grey plastic next to the maroon paint makes the hollowness even worse and harder to ignore than usual.

I really hope they somehow look better or less noticeable on the final figure... because he looks fantastic aside from that!

I dunno why it would be incorrect? The show had flattened the head and it never looked proper. The head should be pointing forward, like it was on the toy and how the Universe/Henkei toy did it too. I prefer this version to the fake flat stretched head on the chest of the MP toy.

Ah thanks! I assumed it wasn't real. The tank body on Warpath is taller than on the real one, though. Probably to fit all the robot body parts.

 

I didn't say anything about it being "incorrect", just that it's obviously not "accurate" to his show model. The realistic cheetah head size/shape contributes to why this toy's torso seems so "off-model".

 

Full disclosure, I might be coming from a biased position here, seeing as I was one of the ones who had early access to the leaks, but your distinction is completely arbitrary. Also, I think there were only 5 people who had access to them. Apollux, Phamduc, Pixelmaster, kentan66 and myself.

Blaming us for trying to share as much information with you guys as possible without actually uploading the pictures or sharing them with people we don't personally know to prevent this exact situation from happening is nothing more than outsourcing the blame.

Regardless, I myself have learned a rather valuable experience from this entire fiasco: 1) When you help others, there will always be people who take it the wrong way and construe your actions as malicious and self-serving. 2) When placed in a position of perceived unfairness, no matter how trivial (because let's face it, these are at the end of the day just pieces of plastic), some people would rather ruin it for everyone (including themselves) than accept that unfairness.

Rest assured, while I can't speak for the others, I personally will never share anything publicly on this forum ever again (if I get any more insider information, as infinitesimal a likelihood that may be). Though, after this, I don't think I even want to be in this position ever again - having access to something without being able to share it with anyone else. No, thank you. I'm more than happy to just get new information when it's publicly available for everyone.

While people always praised Mainframe's CGI work (and to their credit, both BW and Shadow Raiders had far better face animation and fight scenes than Energon or Cybertron would have a decade later) I never cared for how they distorted the robot and animal parts for the transformation. If like me, you were curious how they transformed, and freeze-framed (back in the day, it meant pause and slow play on my VHS recorder, LOL) it looked often like the outer animal shell is made of some stretchy skin while the robot body morphs like the T-1000...   It just did not look very good. Unlike Waspinator or Megatron, where the animal heads looked more or less to be the same parts in robot mode as on beast mode, Cheetor and especially Dinobot had their beast faces stretched over their robot chests like they were wearing t-shirts too small for their size.   Given that they had access to the toy models, not sure why they did not use those designs.
So I for one, caring more about transformations and realistic alt modes, don't mind that Cheetor has such a chest, I am in favor of the new toys as opposed to the animation accurate MPs.

 

While I feel for your situation Actar, you should have known better that a certain subset of people would react disproportionately poorly to the whole situation.

I mean, people throw a fuss when they get a toy in the mail one day freakin' later than somebody else. Bunch of addicts we are, tearing and clawing at each other for our next fix.  

 

You should have expected people to act shitty is never a good excuse for people acting shitty. Givin the people the benefit of the doubt should never be reason to blame the victim.
