Gotta admit, pretty ecstatic about this. These are two figures that I would've bought individually anyways. Ratchet is a given, because it's Ratchet.
Paradron medic/Lifeline calls to my deep love of obscure and background characters. That and I love Fight or Flee.. so many generics running around!

 

Didn't even have to think about this one. I've been debating whether I want Earth mode versions of some of the characters I already have Siege figures for, but I love Ratchet and this version looks great, so I'll gladly get it.

While I'm passing on ER Arcee because I like my T30 Arcee better, I'd been hoping they'd do a Lifeline version of her since the only ones I've seen in the T30 mold are on eBay for way too much money.

So I'm quite pleased with this announcement. Happily pre-ordered!  

 

I was starting to worry you didn't see this pre-order at all. I'm legit developing some sort of FOMO disorder about when pre-orders are going to drop. This is not helping.

I'd take two more, sure.

I'd love to see them really go for it w/the rest of these - more Micromasters, more Mercenaries, more weird character choices. Fracture and/or Glyph for the GoBot world; maybe Buzzsaw, whoever from Ravage, Greaspit, and Hot House for Micron; how about Fangry (Grotusque) and something utterly bizarre like Slipstream from TR Windblade from Dominus; and then the beast-y sounding one can have Scorpulator from BW Scorponok and Rattimus Prime

It depends on how they’re gonna space these out. According to the text, they’re all Earthrise, so I wouldn’t expect any Kingdom figures (not impossible, mind you, but not likely).

 

It's really hard to find some usable beast molds! PotP ones are combiners, and it's weird to release, like, two of the Pretender Monsters, the TR molds are . . . oh, wait, Convobat and Megagator. I'm changing my guess to them.

Referring to the separate audiences like witnessed in several of the posts here. A Ratchet fan pays $40 to get this Ratchet. A Paradron fan pays $40. Yes the value is there for 2 bots and they can sell the other but you’re still spending twice as much at order as they would otherwise. Which is good business sense for Hasbro.

 

 

She gonna be Ratchet’s protege in my universe.

Least it’s not like the power rangers lightning collection. Hasbro released psycho red in a 2 pack with lost galaxy red, psycho blue as a GameStop exclusive and then released a psycho 5 pack as the only way to get black, pink and yellow, forcing people to rebuy red and blue

 

I feel Hasbro missed an opportunity for Ratchet's "Shield" and the Medic's "Hover board" to hook together to form a type of gurney.

I think They were said to be coming at some point and wonder could this be an option

 

Chromia and Nightbird are not the same mold as the CW female mold. It's not even 100% the same engineering.

Valid point on Elita, but Paradron Medic is supposed to be a straight up Arcee repaint, so we only have one "unnecessary" reuse of this mold and it's not even bad.

More like "We have all these figures to sell, and these are the only channels we can get them out through."

They are not just sitting there and thinking of ways to make these figure more difficult to sell. They don't have enough retailers interested in selling all this product for them, things end up as exclusives because they can't sell all this product to regular retail markets. Maybe you forgot, but there's a global pandemic going on with much less disposable income going around between economies right now. That's a hard sell to retailers right now.

As for Amazon not making this available to their respective foreign markets, that I can't answer. Maybe it's not worth the logistical efforts it would take to allocate stock evenly to these markets.

Likely drape him in ugly, tacky stickers to make him look even less like the image you posted. They can't make stickers to transform his hands, thighs and waist into the right colors.

Good. This isn't a Marvel comics homage line. Maybe when they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for low effort bad ideas in a few years, they can do a bunch of Marvel comics repaints with their lame color schemes.

What? Running around to different stores trying to find a figure is far more of a rat race than being able to secure a purchase online.

 

I like it, nothing wrong with Paradron Medic/Lifeline (although I'd have preferred it if they gave her a new head and made Velocity).

 

Preordered as soon as it went up. This is a pretty nice looking set. Can't wait to see what the other four sets look like.
