once you receive it, you click on that. It tells them how long it took from ship to receive for future reference.

It's not an easy pose to replicate. On a related note, Prime's gun is comically big.

So is this worth the purchase? I ended up passing on the official and got the TE-01. However, I'd like to have an mp-44.

Or should I wait for a second run on the official?

The official MP-44 isn't sold out. A second run won't be cheaper. I don't there's anything to wait for?

There are a lot of variables to consider. Can you afford the official? Do you think it's worth the money? Do you want the trailer and other accessories not included with the KO? Are you happy to take a risk that you could get a 'bad' copy of the KO? Are you willing and able to spend the time to mitigate said issues?

If I'd received a perfect example of the KO that didn't require me to spend hours fixing things up, I'd recommend it. As is, unless you're desperate for a copy of this mould I'd wait for another run to see if some of the kinks are ironed out. Of course there's a risk there won't be another run for a while, or perhaps at all.

I do like the matte finish and it's nice to have a spare that I can mess around with more often without fear of breaking a £300+ figure.

Thats pretty cool, though several steps below injection molding its the same principle. Im genuinely toying with the idea of buying and setting up a injection molding rig with molds to produce repair items for this and other things as its looking like there is a market for it. After setting up rig each mold will need to be cnc machined at a cost of several hundred dollars though you could make an epoxy mold for small runs but the quality wouldnt quite be there.

Thinking $5-10 a ratchet/piece till initial investment costs recouped.

Sorry. I wasn't very clear on what I was asking. I was referring to the two halves of the chest with the truck windows coming together. Mine has a fairly wide gap in the center. Did you do anything to modify yours to make the two halves sit flush together.

True, but I'm hoping in the second run of the official the leg issue would be fixed.

The KO is the cheaper option though, but it appears to have even more problems unless that's just a few from here. The video reviews I've seen don't seem to mention the leg issue or the waist ab crunch issue I'm seeing here.

By the way is that avatar from Buckaroo Banzai?

I can afford the official but I the price to risk of breakage ratio is a bit high for me. Also the trailer and etc I don't want as it's just MP-10s with a few add on.

I think waiting is the best option.

Gotcha. Yeah I don't know if TT considers the leg a problem to begin with. :(

I just got my KO today. But I haven't opened my MP-44 so I won't be able to compare. I think the best we can do is just keep weighing in with our experiences. I have to go through the vids for transformation and whatnot.

Yes! Love Buckaroo Banzai. It's so odd. I keep cycling through different things from the movie for my avatar. :)

Takara tacitly acknowledged that there was an issue with the knees by redesigning them for MP-49.

    I love Buckaroo Banzai!

Hopefully with the continued input of fans Takara will address the legs in the second run.

    Good to know.

I really hope your KO is in great shape Big Hache.

So far it at least LOOKS great. I'll put it through the paces. Yeah it doesn't have that painted finish, but neither does TE-01 and that's on my shelf.

Anyone have problems with the wheels sitting crooked in vehicle mode? Like one doesn't touch the ground and makes the grill rub?
And in robot mode the waist pelvis section is like crooked as well. The yellow pieces

Weird. Concerning the alt mode I would recommend making sure both knees have exactly the same bend angle during transformation.

Anyone else have an issue with the upper knee joint in that it will only move one click, or not at all?
