Yes that would be an awesome character to do, maybe in the generations line post war for cybertron. I think the obvious size would be voyager.

 

I really wish we got a Movie Brawl without all the fluff from that State of the Union movie. Sadly, they wouldn't do that because the cow catcher thingy and extra weapons are screen accurate. I still love that Leader Brawl from 07 but sometimes you just want a simple Abrams tank.

Holy crap a Corvette Ravage homage would be so hilarious and worth the purchase. It would probably be named "Agent Ravage" and tie into the BW theme of Kingdom. If Hasbro does this, they are absolute madlads.

 

They're already doing Shadow Panther, so I doubt they would do McD Panther as well.

I was really curious about how the new stuff would scale with T30 stuff, so I made this based on the 5mm holes in Cheetors hands.

I scaled both Cliffjumper and Rattrap to Cheetor, and I don't have my Rattrap with me currently, so I can't compare him with Cliffjumper, to check if I made a mistake. If someone could compare those two to see if I was far off, I would appreciate it.

Everything looks pretty cool to me.
My biggest worry about the Kingdom stuff was that I was hitting a point in my collection where these would be redundancies that I didn't need.
The upgrade from G1 to what we got with Titans Return/PotP/Siege/Earthrise was significant and I felt like these were the toys I always wanted them to be when I was a kid. Easy purchase!

But when I heard they announced BW characters, I was a little worried because I....have all those toys. And they were GOOD TOYS. Perfect? No, but they were really good toys and they had the posability to make them somewhat timeless.

After seeing these images, I couldn't be happier. Blackarachnia not being a repaint of Tarantulas and being show accurate is a huge deal for me. Cheetor looks great. Rattrap looks good, but I will likely skip out on that one. Between the original BW toy and the T30 one, that one does end up being not new enough for me.

As for the fandom's reaction to these? I'm honestly shocked any of you are shocked. There has not been a single line that hasn't been met with harsh hate and devout love at the time the toys were released.
There's always been toxic behavior in this fandom since I was on alt.toys.transformers in 1997.
There are those that like stuff and hate stuff and all opinions are valid.
The problem with this fandom is that you all seem to think your opinions are gospel. Like seriously, haha.
It's okay if someone says "THIS IS CRAP BLARGH!!!" and it's totally okay for you to just not reply to that. They don't need to justify it. Likewise, people have never learned how to let people enjoy things. If someone says they love something, they really don't need your direct reply to them explaining why their opinion is wrong. That isn't even discussion. That is just people hurling jabs at each other over opinions.

Anyway...my parting thought is that I really hope they end up re-doing some Transmetals. I'd love to have those toys again without the flaky metallic paint.

Considering they've already done two other previously unproduced designs in Selects I think Night Prowler has a good chance of happening. Especially since the obvious Shadow Panther repaint is going to be in the mainline.

 

Well, my opinion IS gospel. People will be studying it and deciphering it's meaning for millenia to come. I suggest you all get an early lead. My thoughts on Dinobot in particular will be mandatory reading by the year 2156.

Don't get me wrong, I was completely speaking for myself, I just really don't care for the parts forming on that figure. That said, I'm not going to be a complete phallus about it any time I ever see the figure or others enjoying it. I'm glad you can over look it for what you wanted out of a figure, but for me it was a deal breaker...Am I being stubborn?...Yes, I'll cop to that. But I can be stubborn if I want.

I donno about drama queen...I will admit to being hyperbolic in that particular statement, but I was merely emphasizing my personal feeling of disappointment in an attempt to find a common ground with someone else's personal disappointment.

Actually it was more the weird splotchy silver detailing I didn't care for...Makes the scuff marks of the Siege figures look subtle.
