I'm disappointed in the collectible, it should have been a Soundwave retool.;)

    That's a real shame.

However, I've shot them a message on FB asking if they might consider releasing the 8-9 minute Beast Wars section next year to celebrate the anniversary.

'Toys That Made Us' Season 4 to cover Smurfs, Nerf, D&D — if Netflix renews

    Season 4 will be-

But netflix is about the choose if it gets a new season and he says watch the show to help ratings or it will get canned!

    So

    smurfs
    matchbox
    d&d
    cabbage patch kids
    nerf
    Fast food toys

That's more episodes then the last seasons if they make another season.

It's just the first four. D&D and Fast foods aren't in season 4, those would be in a future season if they make more.

There was one section in the TF episode that was kind of iffy/ innacurate. Around the time TF started the headmaster gimmick, they , the show, claimed that it was all Hasbro and Takara had nothing to do with it. They cleverly focus on the Takara engineer leaving his chair during the interview as Takara backing off during that phase of the franchise.
Maybe Pretenders or even Powermasters (yet the Masterforce until Victory story arcs were all Japancentric, and a mighty good one at that). But the "headmaster" gimmick can be traced to Takara's magnet gimmick toy Kotetsu Jeeg, way back in the 70s as inspiration. I also read in one of the TF Generations "mooks" that the creation of the 2 foot tall OG Fortmax was through Takara's efforts/insistence and not Hb.
Not all of the content in the series, well, related to TF in particular can be considered "gospel".

Odd this is the next season is listed as "season 3" but we had season 3 right? It's not just this but other lists list it as season 3 also but isn't it season 4?

Indeed. S1 was Star Wars, He-Man, Barbie, and GI Joe. S2 was Lego, Transformers, Hello Kitty, and Star Trek. S3 was My Little Pony, Wrestling, Power Rangers, and TMNT. Honestly it's going to be interesting what they cover this season since they're running out of iconic '80s/'90s toylines.

ThunderCats, Toy Biz Marvel, DC Super Powers, Batman, Secret Wars, (or even just a Super Hero episode in general), REAL Ghostbusters, Silver Hawks, MASK, Battlestar Galactica, Shogun Warriors, Buck Rogers, Tron, Clash of the Titans...

There are actually still TONS of toylines they could cover, and while admittedly some of those lines didn't last long, they were still far more influential to 1980's and 1990's toy nerds than say Hello Kitty.
