You're actually better off getting that next batch after all the QC issues have been ironed out.

How easy is it to remove the TE-03 Phantom Mirage's eyes from the head for painting? How did you do it?

I finally took the time and transformed him. It's a great little figure. G1 all the way. I am happy I got him. I don't think it can be beat, outside of the annoying leg transformation.

They just sit in the head. Remove the face, the eyes will come with it.

I didn't completely remove the halves; instead I only loosened the back screw and popped the head off the ball joint.

It actually has two ab crunches. The one you showed at the end of the video isn't the transformation joint though, it's the hip crunch. The transformation joint is the white piece above that, which allows for a deeper bend and more waist rotation. Still a perfectly valid ab crunch, just dual purpose.

Can't remember if I replied to this, but yes, I used some and it did tighten it. Probably needs another application for best results, but I have him in a relatively static pose for now so I'm not going to mess with him.

From my experience, mainly on the smiling head, easy as pie. Does take a tad bit of force, and you should probably use something plastic to push it out anyway, which is kinda obvious, haha.

Couldn't find any reviewer on Youtube doing the swap, but many had allready change to the alternate head prior to their video :(

Don't think you need to loosen any screws, I put the original head back together and just pulled it of with brute force. It didn't feel good, but of it came.

Yeah, I thought the screw actually kept the halves together around the ball joint and didn't realize it doesn't until I saw your pic!
