    Hah. I saw that. I preordered for safety in case this Megalopolis order goes south. Do they even let you cancel orders without having to pull a few teeth?

    Yeah, as long as its a pre-order item, they will let you cancel. I cancelled a PO as soon as the shitshow started. They cancelled my PO as soon as I notified them.

    Well the entire reason I bought the Spy Patrol pack was because they said it was actually in stock so I guess we'll see what happens. I'll give them till next week and then I'm going to get in the long line to complain.

    I’m giving up on them. They lie about in stock items. Hoping I get my refund without having to contact my bank to reverse the charges.

    I’m sure they were sneaky on my order for Exhaust which was ‘in stock’ from the 1st July but they didn’t ship till the 11th.

    I couldn’t cancel as the PO went to processing on the 1st but feck me doesn’t need 10 days to sort.

    Covid19 and staff shortages were used back then and clearly it is still being used now for your orders.

    Anyone going for Spy Patrol Unit 3 - PO it with BBTS. I did.

    Today has been a tough day on us UK Siege/ER collectors with the very limited PO release of ER Bluestreak. Only 2-3 etailers had it for PO today and blink and you miss out. Absolute shitshow. Hasbro UK are shysters.

    I got Siege Omega Supreme from them on sale and tacked on a Siege Spinister to get free shipping (to Canada!). The order shipped the day I placed it, and everything arrived in great condition. Both Omega Supreme and Spinister were listed as In Stock when I placed the order. While others seem to have had bad experiences, mine was nothing but positive.

    Even a broken clock is right twice a day. You and others have reported perfectly fine experiences but they are more the exception than the rule.

    yeah y’know fuck megalopolis but aw the usps :(  as an american the usps is one of the few government agencies that are worth a damn.

    i mentioned earlier in the thread that i’d had only good experiences thru megalopolis and figured it something to do with living 25 miles from the flagship store but wow damn they have a boba fett i was charged for on the 26th of july and was told like two weeks ago that it would be in by the end of the week or sumn but lol surprise surprise they still have it. like bruh please you don’t have to pack and ship it just let me pick it up. i’m glad i’ve been keeping up in this thread to brace myself and prepare.

    During my first bad experience with them I was looking up Yelp reviews and apparently anyone who steps foot in their store gets the red carpet rolled out for them in the reviews are to be believed.

    You know it's really great that you had an amazing experience with them. You definitely got really lucky with such a big purchase. But my question is why would anyone want to support a company that's burning over half of the collector community that looks to them for items that could or could not be actually in stock? I mean just think about all of the kids that will be getting into Transformers for the first time due to all of the new and exciting media coming out. I personally find it very offensive that over half the kids that order from them are going to get burned. This could effectively turn away over half of the next generation of Transformers collectors that go to them, before they actually get a chance to become true Transformers fans, all because their first experience was a bad one due to Megalopolis. And given that most people can only find most Transformers online right now. That chance has greatly increased. And keep in mind that the more transformers collectors there are the more and better figures we will get. Megalopolis is burning over fifty percent of collectors that go to them, and people will quit collecting. Just something to think about as you give them great ratings.

    even with my business hat on seems like you’d see diminishing returns doing that. i interviewed for a job there and they said most of their business is online, seems like you wouldn’t wanna burn those people. really wish i got the job there now so i could whistleblow on all this

    I asked Megalopolis for a refund and to cancel my order as it had been 5 weeks with no movement at all. They told me it was not possible and I’d have to pay return shipping and 15% restocking fee. This is outrageously stupid as the items aren’t even shipped yet. Decided to just contact my bank to dispute the charges and filed a BBB complaint.

    The most recent complaint on the BBB website is from February. That's weird. Also, their reviews are 2-stars out of 5, and they aren't accredited with the BBB. No shock there.

    Back in April it took 3 weeks to get an order to ship--- all items were in stock. I had also pre-ordered the Spy Patrol 4-pack way back when and recently went to check on the status. It showed up in my orders list as "unfulfilled" and no other information. It should have shipped to me two months ago assuming they ever got them in stock, so I sent an inquiry to customer service. They replied that my card was declined when they tried to charge me. There's no chance that's true!
