This is the copy I ordered from TF-Direct. I have one from Showz as well but it still shows USPS awaiting item like most others.

 

They sent a couple of parcels the slow route to me, by train across Russia and Europe, to the UK. Those took two months. Another came a more sensible way and took only a couple of weeks. When I asked about the difference, they said: "we won't use the special method by train anymore, it's too slow."

So maybe they're reviewing shipping and trying to find better ways.

 

Do you think they’re purposely choosing slow shipping? Or making people pay for upgraded shipping to make more money?

Or is there maybe something going on that is affecting worldwide logistics?

What do you think?

My thought is they are using a cheaper shipping method, which is much slower. Probably the same as BBTS - by boat. I asked Show.Z for clarification and am awaiting their reply.

 

Mine has been sitting on “shipping label created” with zero movement since the 11th.
The tracking provided won’t even work with anything other than USPS tracking site.

I buy international all the time and this is the first time I’ve had something sit this long from the origin country with zero movement/updates

 

I think Showz is using multiple shipping options, mine isn't USPS it's FedEx.

My tracking updated a few days ago, then this morning I got: "NJ Monroe Township, Inducted into Pitney Bowes Network"   Maybe it will show up in a month now?

Yep, and mine is Newgistics (Pitney Bowes). Also no movement on the tracking but I’m guessing whatever this method is doesn’t get scanned until it hits the final delivery carrier in the US.

For those in the states I picked up Testors Sky Blue enamel paint for the eyes at Hobby Lobby. I don't have an original mp44 to compare it to, but it seems to match other Autobot eyes in my collection.

Just FYI, I had a package sent first class domestically within the USA which took over a month to arrive and multiple phone calls and poor surveys filled out before they pulled it out of the system (it kept getting sent between two hubs for no good reason at all, likely so it doesnt show up as "undelivered mail" at the correct hub) a chewy order for my disabled cats go missing for weeks and a package from China arrive in 9 days. You cant blame Show.Z for this nonsense, mail systems are overloaded and chaotic atm.

 

I had a package that I paid the $6 extra for shipping. It arrived about in two weeks and was handed over to fedex for smartpost with USPS handling the last leg. Fedex marked it delivered. I call fedex to check and it was delivered using fedex ground. Fedex ground uses independent drivers. These fuckers keep my package and never attempted a delivery. I was at home all day and my video doorbell did not show a delivery attempt. The same shit happened before for my xbox one x that was shipped ground.

I contacted showz and they are going to make this right. Imagine all the shit they have to deal with regarding shipping issues. Now everything is just compounded with the pandemic.

 

^This. I recently ordered an item from TCP that took two and a half weeks to get to me and I live in CA. Tough times for everyone bud, but it will get back to normal soon enough.

 

Postman just dropped mine off. First impressions right out of the box are fairly positive. He feels nice a sturdy and looks great but has most of the quarks that others have. Knees that probably need work, tabs that don't tab and ab crunch that doesn't' disengage properly. Looking forward to making the proper tweaks to get him in tip top shape.
