Proportions are decent though, not like there's only one of the new ones, they are half the case

Ratio is fine, but they're coming as Wave 1 is still on pegs. So it makes it tough to know if the excess of Wave 1 stuff is left over, or if you missed the Battle Squad.

Wave 3 has nothing new then...unless you're a map addict and must get the Siege bots again.

Well, considering the Battle Squad is just a Siege re-release, there's a good chance it will warm pegs this time, like Rung apparently does. Or the second assortment re-releases of Alternators Tracks and Meister back in 2005. Rare and quickly sold out toys getting re-released has a tendency of leading to sudden oversaturation.

Because everyone who wanted them in terms of collectors would've likely tracked them down by now. The smart play would've been to swap out one of the Wave 1 teams with someone from Wave 2.

It's what they're doing right with Doublecrosser. He's 50% of a case made up of nothing but rampmasters, so people who missed out the first time on someone like Slitherfang will still have a shot, and army builder who got into it late have a chance to buy up a bunch of road pieces to expand their city.
