Fudge...I just woke up...a little bit of the depression demon...and the start of my work week. Can someone recap to me what this is? It's not a hug post, only some 170 ish pages....but depression  

 

Started out as a Kickstarter by startup company Mayhem Mekanics, a group of guys with LOTS of experience working for Third-Party companies over the years, for an original-property transforming figure line, featuring an outlaw motorcycle gang. The Kickstarter went very well, reaching 100% fulfilment; the figures are very-well engineered and widely-lauded, designed by Cassy Sark, while the fictional universe was conceived by CZ Hazard.

Next came the Comic Kickstarter, which, while it was successfully fully-funded, has sadly been set back due to the company hitting some internal turbulence behind the scenes; the company has since been forced to cease figure production, and the comic has yet to see fulfilment -- we have recently seen and heard, however, from the artist working on the project, Nate Phoenix, that the comic is close to being print-ready, and having spoken to both Nate and CZ Hazard myself at TFNation 2019, I have it on their authority that the comic WILL see fulfilment, and they are utterly determined to make it happen.

Well TFW, color me impressed. In less than 12 hours I have quality leads on getting the figures I was looking for.

I opted for the credit when the purple one fell through and then didn't immediately buy something, so that's $120 I'll never see again.

I mean, everything he said was true, he just left out the purple guy sale that went south because of Spence, everything else went exactly as stated, everyone got everything. I also was a purple guy buyer who is out the money, but also an 850 pack owner who is satisfied AF with initial KS.

Also sad the Yamazuki never happened thanks to that insanity, they looked badass.

 

I was trying to give a general history to someone new to the property, without slogging through the shitstorm that was Spence taking over toy production, because we'd have been there all day. I was trying to not jade him to the fact that the figures they did produce are damned good.

Mayhem Mekanics was derailed because Spence is manifestly-incompetent - we all know that. But why would someone new to a property honestly want to wade through all that? Can we really not just let someone new enjoy the toys for what they are, without throwing them head-first into a septic tank? It's not fair to newcomers, and it poisons the community.

On a slightly less bitter note. Does anyone have the character lore backed up for the Unrustable characters?
