Agreed. I remember dalianjj making this statement regarding FT-44's price 4 months ago.

 

Kapow, though a great seller, was always more expensive than TFS-Express for FT products and suffered a minimum two week delay. Given that FT prioritise and allocate stock based on previous orders, It’s fair to assume that more people bought from TFS, meaning they got more allocation and Kapow got less. Over the last 18 months, the delay on them receiving stock has just got worse. Seems like they don’t know when or even if they’ll be allocated, so it’s easier to just say they don’t stock them anymore

yeah FT stuff has ALWAYS been marked up like hell at US retailers - they know the US fandom i guess...a lot of people are obsessed with FT. i remember back in the day I got Scoria for soemthing like $168 shipped from china (USA retailers had him at about $200 before shipping) from of all people keith (yes that one) who at the time had a good working relationship with FT. 6+ years is a long time ago in this hobby/buisness i guess.

yes he did. this was around the time he was winding down that operation though if i remember correctly.

 

It's already been said before that many 3P people are related in some ways.

I totally agree with you I just have a hard time not holding onto cash. I have investments. I jus have a strange love/hate relationship with my savings account. I can’t bring myself to empty it out into something with risk

 

Your best bet would be to hope for people who don’t pay their preorder and they become available. I think TFsource or toy dojo had this happen recently with Dunerider. Don’t remember which.

 

End of this month is Sovereign M reissue. Thomas has always been listed as October release since solicited pre orders went up in Spring this year.

 

Funny thing is that tfs- express told me that dragstrip is also october.
I woudn't mind for the early release.

 

They will re-issue it at some point. There's too much demand for it to be satisfied by the size of their first runs these days. The question is how long it will take for a second run, and what price they'll charge when they do.

 

Don't do this, don't get my hopes up!
