it looks like starscream joined the predacons but got an upgrade to leader sized (prime/metatron) body. theres some gundam in the dna for sure here too. also lol at gerwalk mode. i do think he should have like a heat shiled type thing to cover his bot mode cockpit in bird mode. the orange is too distracting. takes focus away from the acutal bird head.

So big and yet missing something as basic as a waist joint...

 

seems to plague lots of big figures officiand 3p...mp-22 and fanstoys phoenix come to mind. thosre are both way bigger too...its a pet peeve of mine too. i accepted it on macross valkyries due to transformation being part of the canon (the way it transforms is canon) but with a little bit of cheating bandai made it happen after 30+ years. it also seems like the new mp starsscream v2 lacks a waist swivel too.

 

I know it says falcon, but I'm getting an almost phoenix vibe from this... Preorder is in!

 

Right, I was surprised to see the new MP seeker doesn't seem have waist swivel.
Well, both TT Starscream and MP starscream won't have waist swivel, but at least TT starcream will be 1/3 or 1/4 of the price of MP V2.  

 

Comparing this with TT and their pricing it just settling for mediocrity.

3P products have more than proved themselves to be better than official offerings when they want to be... The whole "it's as shitty as a TT MP but cheaper!!" is just going in the opposite direction.

 

Well, this company "TT Hongli" is new to transformers, I wouldn't think it's on the same level as FT, FH, XTB, UT etc.
You can see from the design, it's a very simple transformation and quite similar to Gundam.

 

I know someone mentioned that the plastic was more like Gundam quality, but like the higher end Gundam kits? Is anyone else commenting on the plastic more specifically? I don't think this thing would work on that kind of plastic at that size. I think that's really my only concern with this figure, especially one this big (though I didn't like hearing about no waist swivel).

Man, I know I said I wasn't buying this before, but I've been going back and forth on this thing since those new pictures showed up. Blah!

Ooo, thank you for the size comparison. I just bought T-Beast Bumblebee and was curious how they scaled together. Man he is a bigum in comparison.

Still, so on the fence on this one. Expensive, but seems to be worth the $$. The idea of an giant angry goose Starscream makes me grin way more than it should...
