Shelfwarmed? I thought he was an online exclusive, and the listing stayed up much longer after he sold out.

Has there ever been a counterfeit KO of Powermaster Optimus Prime in authentic-looking packaging? I thought those fake G1 toys were limited to the 1984-86 line-up.

Also, that figure was produced like a gajillion times.

Here are a bunch of photos of authentic PM Primes in packaging for comparison, courtesy of Transformerland:

No replica KO PM Prime was released in G1 packaging. There have been other KOs but not in the replica style boxes. Also not sure why you think it's too good to be true. It's not like the seller listed it for $10, they want $500 for it as a min bid and there is a reserve price. I would be more cautious of the seller only having 1 feedback.

I’m trying to do some homework before I make a potentially big purchase. I’ve got someone telling me they have a loose G2 motormaster and I’m doing a meet up with them to see if it’s legit. They have not been very forthcoming on pictures, but I am going to see it in person out of sheer curiosity and to look at the rest of their collection. Posting here, because I can’t seem to find anything online about whether this has been KO before or not. Any helpful input or links to where this has been knocked off would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As with many of you I'm sure, I never saw the Ratbat/Frenzy Siege pack in the wild. I'm now seeing many of these for reasonable prices on ebay, but from China. Are these the real deal, or are they KO's?

I got mine from an eBay seller in China. Was cheap, but took forever to get here. Looks legit to me, but does have a sticker on the back in different languages.

I don't think they're KO's. I also got tired of waiting for a US re-release and ordered from China. They were more expensive than retail, but still not nearly as bad as e-bay aftermarket pricing. The packaging on the set that I received looked legit to me and the plastic, paint apps, and tampo's were of typical Hasbro quality for this line. Everything transformed well with no "KO wonkiness" and all the joints were nice and tight. They even had all the appropriate batch stamps and markings, which I assume a KO wouldn't bother with.

I would also say they're not KOs. Likely just overstock from Asia. I've ordered Vipers, Gnaws, and a few others and they look exactly like my US ones, but occasionally have an extra sticker on the package.

    Ebay:
So I recently purchased an MP-36 Masterpiece Megatron, while the seller advertised it as being authentic, and for the most part from what I’ve compared it looks to be so, I’m starting to scratch my head on this and I’m hoping someone can help.

A couple of details, item came taped shut and never opened, that being said it also didn’t come with the orange plug in either the gun barrel and silencer.

Second issue is the stock, it’s missing the release button.

Thirdly, there’s a bit of packaging tape in the screw hole, same used to tape up the box it arrived in.

Fourthly, after finding the required LR44 batteries, I’ve found the sound from the fusion cannon is very loud and distorted, there’s either a crackling noise or high pitch screeching sound.

Speaking of the fusion cannon, there’s a noticeable gap here on top.

I also just noticed from watching Optibotimus and a few other videos that my button is on backwards.

If anyone is interested in any specific pics I’m more than happy to produce, I’m just hoping I didn’t make a mistake here.

but here’s some up close pics

oh, and here’s the original eBay listing which should have the seller’s info...

    Hello TFW

First post ever here but I have a question.
Was Taktom's LG21 Hardhead ever KO'd? I bought the official version when he came out but I lost his head in my international move back to Australia.
Is there a cheap way to get his head again?

I hope I’m in the right spot, have any of you guys bought any studio series from China? I found a long haul that looks fine and the guy has good feedback. I’m just worried about quality. I have all the cons and got a second set to put devastator together and only need the long haul. Looking to see if he will do his job or if they are way lower quality and a waste of money. Thanks
