Thatt's a good question really. I mean, he's probably gonna be in a case with Prime and Megatron on the one hand, but on the other hand Rattrap IS a popular character with BW fans and this'll be packed in botmode.
I initially thought you meant to rectal/urogenital region, but if you’re referring to the lateral deviation of the femur from the pelvis:
I can understand this philosophy when it comes to MP, since transforming those figures can be a bitch and a half...but I've got to ask, if you don't even transform the basic $10 variety of transformer then what actually even got you into transformers in the first place?
I'm SO ready for the Beasts to destroy my wallet. If this is any indication Kingdom is going to be amazing. To even things out, obviously Rattrap here isn't perfect and has its' many sets backs. But I still think it looks good for its' size and accomplishes what it set out to.
I guess that's along the lines of Cheetor's gun having the Cheetah's intestines on it. That's... a very 90s thing. With the whole "kids love to be grossed out" thing going on back then.
Yeah, those I'd say are a bit closer, but rattrap's really juts out. The slope on his waist is pretty steep. I think I'll get used to it, it just... took me by surprise i guess.
I have no connection to beast wars, heck I didn't even know it existed three years ago, but ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I gotta get at least one of those guys.
I feel like that's a good way to put it. I mean as collectors we're automatically bringing toys up to our standards, which considering most Transformers toys match those standards is pretty impressive. Me though? I love this guy. I was never satisfied with the T30 Rattrap's posability, proportions, or transformation. This fixes all of those issues, so unless it has some hideous glaring design flaw I'm psyched. The forward facing shoulder balls are potentially the only issue I'd have, but given the unrestricted elbow ball joints and the fact that he has a backpack blocking any rear movement anyway, I don't think it'd be an issue on this toy. Unless prices have gone up I believe he's $10 USD. And I love it.
Rattrap is my absolute favorite character from any fiction of any type, ever. I know what I'm buying three of next year! I hope he'll be easy to find. Last time Beast Wars were on shelves during Thrilling 30, they were so tough to find. I had to order all of mine. Hopefully distribution will be better this time around! I can't wait for Kingdom!
Moms and dads buy their kids the characters they ask for. Yup. There are entire toy lines dedicated to rotting food and literal poop. A single rat ain't going to even raise an eyebrow.
I really think that’s the one that will make or break this line for me. None of them individually will be the best version of the character, but if they nail Tigatron that’s a good sign that they’ll look good together as a group on the shelf.
Some of you guys are freaking in lala land. It\'s a $10 figure. With current prices, the articulation and such is right on point with that even at a legends scale. I think the line will do just fine. My guess is most of the people griping really are griping b/c it shows that these are legends scale and not deluxe scale, crushing a lot of people\'s dreams of having BW figures in legends scale with modern sculpting and articulation. Prices they may end up rethinking the price and dropping them for $8.99 before release.
