Point out another OFFICIAL legends class figure that has ankle tilts, wrist swivels and a waist swivel. It's much more complex than any official legends figure from has/tak

Fair enough, I'm newish to the mainline scene, and I saw some of the things that came out w/ potp and this seemed a lot nicer compared to those legends/deluxe but at a price hike that would be hard to stomach if you've been into it for awhile. Thank you for the thoughtful answer instead of the "get off the thread newb" type answer. Some people are outright hostile. Despite it's short comings it's still my favorite in ER so far.

How is a Deluxe price for a Deluxe figure a premium price? This isn't a Legends figure, it has a much higher parts count and larger size.

They are, but it's taking dear sweet time.
I got one of three packages in about a week ago. That was the repugnus/grotusque two-pack that shipped in its own box.

The second package is the BLS PeruKill KO with a couple other figures. Tracking shows it arrived in Chicago a day or two after the first, but it was selected for customs inspection, which means it'll sit there for about 2-3 weeks and the customs agents will likely use the box as a soccer ball but whatever, it's like 6 hours from where I live.

The third package, which includes this upgrade kit, is waiting for a couple of preorders to fill so it can go together.

After 35 years of collecting, I can wait another few weeks.

Does he still roll well with the kit installed? I got Cliffy yesterday and he's a really cool figure but I dislike the partsforming just as much as I thought I would. He's already a little bit clunky to transform so I don't think a little bit more will be an issue. I just want to make sure he still rolls freely in alt mode before jumping in on this set

Is this available anywhere other than TF Safari? They're out of stock and the page says it's inbound for late... July. I've got a piece of shit partsformer in box desperate for freedom, and I wouldn't mind getting two of SKW-03 for the coming Bumblebee retool too.

Yes, he rolls just fine. The only downside is that you cannot unfold and store his bazooka underneath him for sledding mode. Like, that’s literally the only problem the kit creates.

Thinking about it, I wonder if this kit would work with the upcoming Bumblebee as well....

I don't see why it wouldn't what with it being basically a repaint. I'd only be concerned about hammering out that pin on the clear blue plastic

That's the thing though, he isn't a repaint, he's a complete re-shelling of the alt mode. There's a chance that the positioning of the peg with the pin is in a different location, which would then render this upgrade useless for him. :(

If you take away the """"shield""""" which has the same cut as Cliffjumeper's because it has to fit over the same area of the arms, Bumblebee just has some new shoes. The tummy plate is different if you really want to get technical but it's not as different of a shape to affect this addon. The skeleton is the same so this piece is going to fit in the same places it would on Cliffjumper

I finally installed those kits on Bee and Cliffjumper, despite buying them 6 months ago... that's because it took me that long to learn how to knock pins out. Cliffjumper's pin was an ungodly nightmare and I'm pretty sure I left a stress mark somewhere I can't see, but Bee's was cakewalk.

The transformations are extra difficult and fiddly and part-clashing now, but it's all worth it for being able to transform them without partsforming.
