so I know PE made a version of Ginrai replace the fake cab in Super Ginrai. That hs been disconntinued many a moon now. Could this robot be made to replace the cab that comes with Super Ginrai?

This mold unlike the Jinrai Prime mold doesn’t have the compartment for the larger robot head, so it can’t combine with LG Ginrai

 

No compartment for larger head, no replacement chest panel for powermaster add-on, and no connections for god bomber wings. There are some different transformation steps too.

You can try setting an eBay alert in case Jinrai Prime pops up again...and hope no idiot put toyhax stickers on it. Can't believe they actually made a labels set for it, meh.

 

I was hoping for a nemesis version with the trailer, but broke down and got the dark warrior because it was on sale at ShowZ.

During a visit to some hobby stores after class, I saw this figure been put on shelves. Intrigued by the pretty sleek styling of this figure and also somewhat want to experiences 3rd party TFs, I got myself one.



Only got mine out of the box and poses it for a bit, but the initial impression that I got with this figure is actually pretty good (Even if some places does feel more overengineered than really needed). The joints are a bit on the right side however, especially with the shoulders on my copy.

 

Just tried and transformed mine into truck mode, and ehh... it's pretty much what I expected from a 3rd party type figure; Where there are some pretty neat tricks and the way certain parts of the robot mode forms a certain part of an alt mode is pretty neat, but everything seems to more "overengineered" that necessary, and certain steps of the transformation kinda relying more on "just squeeze everything together until it looks like something" rather than been simple and intuitive.



When everything is done.... the truck mode looks pretty nice from almost every angle, and the paint job is very good and cleanly applied.

This is just the 1st time I attempted the transformation, so maybe I would practice the transformation a few more times just to be more familiar with how everything should go together.

 

curious if anyone would be willing to sell the axe from this figure? It's really the only thing I want from it

 

Silly question... Are these figures still compatible as torsos for the Powermaster Prime and CW Magnus trailers? Granted, they don't store an extra bot mode head in their chest but... Eh. Wondering if they work how they'd look.

I bought PE DX11B and was having big problems with his wrist joint ... it was tight on the first day I bought it (bouncing sound could be heard) but now it's very loose. And I couldn't find any screws to see what's inside. can anything help?

4 Fext-03 sets put together. Price went up 50% or so since I bought them unfortunately.

Mine does the same now. I haven't been brave or care enough to risk damage to take a deeper look.

 

Well, I just recieved Honor Warrior (Still waiting on Dark warrior). I have to say...I'm underwhelmed! I dont agree with having ratchets in the lateral motion of the shoulders, or the forward and backward, for that matter. Nothing is heavy enough to need them. The wrist joint should have been painted to match the rest of the arm, as well.
However, the sculpt is good the paint is well aplied and he really had no loose joints. To me hes pretty much a high grade over priced deluxe figure. I don't hate it, but it could have been better. 6/10

 

After having the figures for a while, the ratcheted joints suck. They wear down relatively quickly and go from super tight to floppy. The original PC-16 Jinrai Prime mold is holding up better over time.
