How often have you handled the figures? I don’t handle my MPs too often but Breakdown gets the most transformations due to its lack of paint to chip. I haven’t noticed any looseness on mine. Honestly all of my MPs seem to be holding up fairly well. The only one actively getting worse is Takara’s Hound. But we all know you don’t even have to touch that one for it to break.

I have transformed Breakdown and Wildrider more time than any of my other masterpieces. This is due to owning them the longest and that the Stunticons are my favorite transformers ever. Decepticon cars! Neither of these has chipped paint or any joint looseness whatsoever. Like I said before, these are great figures. I don't care for the lack of solid sides on the abdomen, and while the backpacks are kinda big, I consider it to be a nice homage to the original figures.

Dead End I've transformed maybe 5 times and the paint on the legs, doors and feet is flaking off. Drag Strip I'm scared to transform since I got replacement shoulders than have since heavily cracked. I love the idea of having Stunticons that match Autobot car masterpiece figures in scale, but I'm not enough of a scale stickler to be bother with getting superior figures from Fans Toys. DX9, only Dead End looks good, the others just don't resemble the cartoon enough for me.

Glad I never bought Hound. After buying Unique Toys Swindle, all other Jeep transformers just look like amateurish shit to me with all the kibble underneath. Sorry, Takara! Swindle is the absolute most perfect transformer ever made when it comes to balancing cartoon accuracy with real-world vehicle appearances.

It depends. These guys 2-3 times. Once when I bought them and once to compare to FT when I got each. One or two of them I transformed one other time. I transform maybe one of my figures every couple weeks, but I have a lot so most of them have only been transformed once.

One time = to alt mode then back to bot mode. I think the ones I transformed the most are MP-10 and MT Hellfire.

It has been nearly 2 weeks since we got the trailer pictures in base mode. Wonder why it takes this long just to get the combiner mode pics of the trailer. Its just Dr Egg this and Dr egg That

XTB have decided there will now be two trailers, sold as one package. One transforms to base mode and the other will transform to combiner mode. They're both delayed though as XTB are adding light up elbows, and a remote control motorized "thumbs up" gesture. MSRP $575

At this point its too annoying to even ask XTB about combined mode pics. I bet if they release combined pics this week or the next, their going to make us wait again for another week and so to reveal the price and the release date.

this made me look at my figure and I see a white line on that exact mushroom peg. The joint is really stiff on that side (the red soft ratchet part, not the part connected to the wheel/shoulder bit). How did yours break? Was it a fall? Forcing of the joint? I can manipulate mine it seems just fine and bend that joint that broke for you while stiff still seems like it's solid enough for now.

We are now nearing the end of August. Since the price was announced on the Egg (I can't even bring myself to call it a Quintesson) I've lost all interest in it.

    ---

An expression for every time XTB announce "news" that isn't the news we all want to hear.

    1) The first time photos of the Trailer were "suggested" and all we got was one lousy picture of the back end.
    2) "See screenshot below" Still waiting... 7 weeks and counting.
    3) Aw! No fair! I want to see the combed mode, not the stupid base thing.
    4) "How much?" - in response to the Egg.

I don't think the photographer has a set of instructions or a review video to go by. I can't think of any other possible reason to not have been shown "Menasor" images by now.

The video review should be coming from 598 robot although when will that happen is one of the questions XTB is going to answer with "pretty soon" .

Oh, and GRAVESTONE'S trailer in color early next month!

    Locke is totally missing.

Yeah not good that the company promises pretty orders and reveals in July and here we are end of August twiddling our thumbs.

I'll stick to Fanstoys in future. I'm now kinda pissed that I chose XTB over them for Stunticons but happy they scale with MP cars.

Yeah... I know we all have a little complain every now and then. There's some psychology behind it I guess. I don't want for much in life generally. I'm fairly easy to please and have few to little materialistic possessions. TF's are just a piece of my childhood I hold onto, and having this hobby makes some of the problems in the bigger, wider world seem less intense upon my conscience and empathetic nature. Having these figures takes me back to a place where nothing really mattered because I wasn't old enough to really understand what the world was about. I've been really sensitive to what's been going on since January (more so than I am usually because of the unavoidability of news and media coverage). I feel like an absolute, self absorbed moron sometimes when I post stuff... most of it is entirely in jest and ultimately I am happy enough to just sit back and wait for when things happen. It's just when we're all in times of uncertainty and hardship it's nice to have something to look forward to and when those things are "promised" (albeit very loosely) and then not delivered upon it's a pang in the side. Realistically I have nothing to complain about and sometimes I wonder why I say the things I do. I'm entitled to my opinion but I don't feel in the slightest bit entitled as a person. We have it pretty good is the honest truth of it all. My apologies to anyone if anything I've said on here has offended you in any way, like I said... most of the time it is meant with jest and a certain logic I can only call my own. I mean no real malice to XTB as a company. Some of their figures have problems which shouldn't really be there or could have been resolved or accounted for before bringing to production (we're paying customers after all), but then here I am finding myself pointing the finger and asking them (in an indirect kind of way) to hurry their shit up and release the final piece. Maybe it's just not ready? Maybe they don't need jokers like me hurrying them along? Not that they're paying attention to it anyway.

I actually like and prefer the way ft do business that way - in the sense that they say nothing until it's time to say something. We get what we get when we get it and there's nothing in-between. On the other hand it's nice to have updates from some of the other 3P's and like I say - those little bits of info have been a relief during lockdown when there's literally no other good news anywhere.
