I said the exact same thing lol, I don't get why more didn't get behind the crowdfund in the first place it is such a great looking figure.

 

Given Griffith's work on Orion Pax, I'm hopeful that Supermax will retain the incredible engineering we saw on the initial renders.  

 

That and I hope we see more faces for Fort Max as well. Just keep them coming.

I honestly think it had everything to do with timing. If the crowd fund were to happen now I bet it would get its backers, no problem. I have no data to back this up, just speculation based on what I've seen during the pandemic.

 

We rushed into it and mishandled it. It's probably for the best it failed. Also gave me the time and chance to tweak and update it. Supermax as it is now is better than the previous version was.

 

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Really is an insta-buy for me though regardless.

 

Looking forward to it! I have no attachment to the character or know anything about IDW comics, I just know a good design when I see one. I'm all about that kind of aesthetic.

This is intriguing because I would really like to upgrade my perfect effect warden. Because even with his upgrade kit he has very stumpy arms.

 

I have 5 figures left till I stop purchasing new figures for my collection. I have never shared a crowdfund so hard as I did with this figures first attempted release. I am 100% in support of this one. I just hope the purchase so long after dropping out of buying figures doesn't suck me back in.

 

The fact that @RVDA said that in its current form, Supermax is better than what it was because he's had time to refine it...
is the most hype I've ever been for a transforming figure. An innovative mindset for a big bot with the sculpt to match.
Whatever the redesigns bring, nothing is higher on my buy-list lol.

I really hope we can see larger MP-scale figures like this having the mixture of his and Griffith's level of articulation become a trend in 3P.

I don't think You realize how many people's minds where blown with "Supermax as it is now is better than the previous version was". I'm so freaking excited, like literally giddy like a little kid on xmas. The previous render looked great and the engineering was nice so if it's even better count me in.

 

Hopefully they add a lot more sculpted details

 

Cool! This (and FT Outrider and Acoustic Wave) are my most anticipated figures.
