Someone sell this man a IDW Prowl!!

    ————-

Also, I don’t consider this figure “MP” at all. MP is and has been movie crap, Beast Wars ... stuff, and the 198X/G1 figures. They have never delved into DW/IDW stuff.

I also consider “MP” a certain style/fit and finish/and scale.

Whilst G-Creations Prowl sizes up with MP car bots, he isn’t the same fit and finish as most MP’s (official and say, from the likes of FT or even XTB nowadays) and be most definitely doesn’t fit in aesthetically with either the MP Beast Wars figures, the G1 figures or the Movie figures.

I also don’t consider GT Jazz or the TFM Stunticons “MP” either. Especially since all the car bots scale perfectly with voyager sized non-MP bots (all save for Motormaster that is).

    Last but not least:

I think even now, the FT Stunticons look absolutely ****ing laughable standing next to the other car bots, or shit, any other bot released so far. Were they giant sized in the cartoon/seeker height? I can not recall but my mind is telling me hell to the no.

You are free to call it whatever you want, but Gcreation IDW line is MP scaled, have MP complexity and it folows quite closely the IDW Aesthetic. Their stuff is even more IDW accurate than what GT (which also make IDW MP bots) or MMC (which makes chugsterpice I believe) make regularly.

I mean, you aren't wrong? They are indeed the same size as their 198X/G1 MP counterparts. This much is true.

However voyager size is voyager size no matter how you want to spin it. If MMC, or SXS were to make a IDW Prowl, I can most definitely assure you it would be the same size as this Prowl right here. Because he's a voyager - which just so happens to be the same as "MP carbot height." I have a toooon of voyager figures whom are also the same size as this Prow, or .. bigger. Also, no one was "arguing" that GC's stuff isn't very IDW accurate? So is MMC's Guzzle, and more (which ironically would mean, that MMC's Guzzle is also "MP!" because he scales properly with this Prowl and is extremely hyper accurate).

So ayeeee. I don't consider this "MP" at all. And I don't think a "MP IDW" line will ever exist anyhow. We, and very thankfully, got a few bots out of it. But I think those days are long gone.

As for complexity, well, I'd say G-Creations has Takara beat there by about 80% or more. As far as I recall, transforming GC's Prime was a absolute nightmare.

For some Ultra Maxmas was a nightmare. But honestly once you understand the order of movements needed it's a fun transformation. If you're into lengthy/puzzle transformations.

Nabbed this guy on Robot Kingdom. I know about the Smokescreen recolor, but really want a Diaclone/"Blue"streak (and okay,a black 'n' purple Barricade version).

He arrived today. He has a great presence. A little nervous attempting the transformation.

Actually, not so bad when you get everything lined up. Kind of interesting how his legs spread into three sections to compress

(I know he's IDW, but looks good with Power Baser)
Chief strategist Prowl, requesting to return to your command, sir

If I am recalling things correctly, that's not how I told you to submit requests
    IMG_20200822_170000.jpg
    Welcome back, Prowl
    Glad you're back too, Prime

Slightly misstransformed in robot mode. There are 2 grey bits aside from feets, that should be flipped out.
