It's been over a week for my order and they don't respond either. I'm headed for a BBB complaint if it goes too much longer.

Maybe never. They most likely don’t actually have it in stock and there’s no guarantee that they ever will. You basically just joined a waiting list by paying full price and shipping. :(

I'm already doing my part and boycotting Megalopolis!!! I spend about $500 a month on Transformers as well as other Collectables, and Megalopolis will never again see not even 1 single penny of it!!! I have washed and scrubbed my hands of them!

BBB complaint submitted. It’s kind of a long process but fighting bad guys takes work.

Sorry to hear you're still waiting! I gave up on my last order a few weeks ago that was supposed to ship out since July and still sitting in their warehouse. I ended up just calling my CC to dispute my transaction and to show that my item has never shipped. got credited back instantly. I would have never done so if the item was shipped out as promised, plain and simple.

Ordered Snapdragon and NECA Leatherhead from the on July 24th. They were listed as hot off the truck. Still no movement on my order. Will not be doing business with them again.

    Hello All,

I live in the UK and my experience was far from being a great one.

I thought post coming from China has been problematic but it’s worse getting post out of the US.

Feck me is the US postal system shite at the moment.

I ordered a figure from Megalopolis on the 29th June. Never again. Stupidly high shipping cost (which isn’t warranted but that was my choice to go ahead) that was fractionally more expensive than the figure and it might as well been sent in a rowing boat from the East Coast to the UK. Sadly it took 3 weeks to get out of the US. The package hit the USPS on the 11th July starting in Salt Lake City, then San Fran and then to Atlanta to leave for the UK. The package went awol between San Fran and Atlanta from the 16th July to 5th August. I appreciate Megalopolis cannot be held responsible for that but the carrier they use they have choice over.

Megalopolis took 10 days to process my order taking my cash on the 29th June and makes me wonder if they actually had the figure in stock like they said it was on the 1st July. I emailed them and got a reply but they were hiding behind high levels of orders, skeleton crew of staff operating and all connected to the impact of Covid 19.

The bit that rankles me is that it took them 10 days after the stock arrived to actually get mine shipped. The $26 for USPS I expected a swifter movement on getting the product to the UK which clearly did the scenic route.

No more cash to go to Megalopolis and USPS. I don’t know how you US members can put up with that. Awful service from both entities.

I finally received the figure on the 11th August.

The actual figure became available to UK retailers so I actually got the figure the week before from the UK and a lot cheaper.

A costly lesson and I fully understood that I would be hit with UK import tax and admin fee on top for getting products from the US. What I hadn’t expected was for a US company to take 10 days to process and then a US postal company delay shipment for over 3 weeks by sitting on the parcel. I expect that of the third world not the USA.

On a positive note my eBay orders at the same time from Baba arrived rapidly. Took 10 days in total from China to my front door.

I won’t use Megalopolis again and anything connected to USPS I’d avoid like the plague. Not sure how our US brethren are going to fair at election time with postal votes when it is in the hands of the USPS. Good luck with that.

    Stay safe all.

I had a slight interest in their Madballs for myself and their Battletoads for my wife, but this thread long ago made the idea of me getting those for us impossible since they're exclusive to this store.

    Such a shame.

Either my filing with the BBB had an effect or this is purely a coincidence, but Megalopolis emailed me today asking if I wanted my order cancelled. I had to bite my tongue from saying “THATS WHAT IVE BEEN ASKING YOU TO DO FOR A MONTH AND YOU KEPT SAYING NO.” So I replied, yes please cancel and refund me. Within two hours I was refunded.

There are several options when filing with the BBB, anywhere from just posting a public comment to a full filed complaint where you seek a resolution and they contact the business. I did the latter. Megalopolis’ offer to cancel came just hours after the BBB notified me that they had forwarded the complaint to Megalopolis.

Anyway, those of you still waiting, try filing a complaint with the BBB as @Dachande recommended and maybe it’ll help.

It should never, ever have to come to that. I'm sorry you've been through so much with all of this. It's absolutely ridiculous they're stringing everyone along. I'm guessing they're using this money to get Madballs and other exclusives. Anyone else feel like this whole thing is a badly handled Ponzi Scheme that's beginning to fall apart slowly before our eyes?

It has to be a badly handled scheme. The way they’ve been handling so many customers truly paints a picture of a business that has no interest in longevity or return customers. They fancy themselves a major online store but they aren’t willing to do the work and offer the same courtesies that nearly ALL of the legit stores, big or small, offer. I mean, when you log into your account on their site you can’t even see what payment method you used much less edit or remove your credit card info.

If this really is how they’re funding their projects, by basically borrowing money from customers and trickling orders out when they can spare a little time and money to do so, they are going to fail miserably. I don’t actively wish them ill will but I’m certainly not rooting for them.

What was the shitty toy company from 15 or so years ago that made a few figures, took preorder money, shit all over their customers and then folded? This is reminding me of that. I wonder if it’s any of the same people. Hmm...

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Seems very much like a "rob Peter to pay Paul" operation. That will only last so long. I can't wait to see what comes of the crowdfunding money. I have a feeling there will be a lot of angry/sue-happy investors when they see what's going on with their dough.

For the sake of argument, let's say they pull a rabbit out of their hat... What's left? Madballs, Vitruvian Hacks, and their mascot guy. Not a lot of product to keep a business going. All their money seems to funnel into those endeavors. I don't know about you, but I couldn't care less about their doofy mascot and Madballs stopped being my scene... Ever.

*sigh* another option down the drain.

I definitely think your on to something! Seems like they have gone bankrupt and are posting that everything is "In Stock" even though it's not, just to get our money!

Not sure if this helps, but the spy patrol is back up for pre-order at BBTS. I'd cancel the order if you still can.

OMG! More lies! They definitely don't have the Spy Patrol 4 pack! Better cancel that order! I know that BBTS has the pre-order back up!
