RVDA, while you're here, I have one question that's nagging at my OCD. Orion Pax's MTMTE design has this little cut-out upwards-facing triangle at the bottom of his faceplate (not sure if that description makes sense, but you can see it in the images below). It's a tiny thing, but really distinctive to his look, and the current face sculpt just doesn't look quite right without it:



Is there any chance of this detail being incorporated/included, maybe as an alternate faceplate? Figure looks amazingly glorious and close to perfection otherwise!

Well it's not completely known for sure yet, is it? I'm betting in hand it will have the range needed (or else it be a major flaw. Maybe not inside sliding into rear neck panels, but same mobility/range.

I'm guessing 129.99 to 149.99. depending where in USA costs I mean. $110 showz & the like.

 

Totally blown away. Back of the vehicle mode compacts nicely as well; no feet hanging off. And awesome that the matrix is removeable.

But obviously the bot mode is where this guy shines. Sweet Primus, he's glorious. He even has sliding armor panels on his legs; my GOSH.

Oh man, I was gearing up to track down a Tyrantron, but now I'm scared they'll eventually do a new one on par with this guy. I super hope Optus marks the next step of Reformatted going forward.

Also, does he have multiple faces? I swear his "brow" is changing.

 

How the fuck is this only $110?! I paid roughly $180 for my MMC Carnifex who is a beast in his own right and he ain't got shit on what we're seeing with Optus Plexus here.

Yes! I love the more expressive eyebrow / visor sculpt there. Really evokes the comics.

Well this one has a very simple transformation from what I see, also the paint will not be glossy like Carnifex's (I am guessing).

I also failed to take into account the repaints i.e. they probably priced this based on that, etc.

 

So, we're in agreement, Optimus needs his cleft(?).

Also, I can't wait to make him jump off of the roof. He tends to do stuff like that.

 

The wheel placement in both alt mode and robot mode were sacrificed for the shoulders. I think it worked out, though I sort of wanted the front of the alt mode to look more integrated.

 

Man, the overall body and transformation makes me really hopeful for a WFC retool!

 

Easiest pre-order ever.

Now I'm just hoping that when they get around to releasing Trux they give him similar hands.
