It's my first one! I'm getting back into collecting after a long hiatus. So I've been REALLY out of the loop. Bruticus was my favorite combiner as a kid and recently came across Assaultus. Thought I'd get the one that seemed to be lowest in stock (at least shipping to Australia).

 

get them all while you can. i figure once brawl comes in stock they will all sell out. i have all 4 once my Incursus comes in. this set is really good i also have the add on kit for this release as well

 

Will definitely try- been looking at the local sellers in Australia, mostly out of stock on the others, so am constantly on the look out online but sometimes the shipping to Australia is brutal. May pre-order Brawl in that case.

 

good luck these are cool. i dont have a huge transformers collection but i try to get some here and there when i can. HT star wars gets more of my attention and forget about the transformers some times.

 

I guess whichever character you like the most, there’s no real order that you have to get them in.

"edit" even the faceplate colour has changed wtf .. is this a production sample or an old test shot?

what happened to the rest of the grey paint on the forearms? why is there only a little square in grey now?

Even if they did change the colors, those aren't really deal breakers for me. Also, it looks like he has an ab crunch, so that makes Fraudo the only one without.

 

looking at g1 cartoon pictures the faceplate was darker but a bit disappointed in the forearms it looks unfinished

 

I don't think that's finished----IIRC, the test shot's main color was considered too light and was going to be darkened up a bit.

For me he looks like the best design of the whole gang

 

From the looks of it, the green is more saturated instead of darker, which is okay by me, although I'd prefer slightly darker. It's hard to tell whether that's a real chance of due to lighting and the camera though. I agree that the forearm looks unfinished if only that square is gray. It's not a deal-breaker, but an annoying change if that is indeed final.

Nitpicking aside though, he looks amazing overall! Need moar pics!

 

Hey deim I have heard 2 release times one for this week n one for 3 weeks. Have you heard though the grape vine anything different?
