Got my coneheads today. Came in a shipping box, unlike some people. Luckily I don’t have the wing color issue on dirge.

Ramjet, though, he has issues. Both shoulders are pinned wrong and as such the chest doesn’t clip in place. Trying to decide if I just go ahead and contact amazon and get a replacement or if I order a new one first then return the extra.

 

Coneheads are due in tomorrow. We will see in what condition they arrive. I did find a single Overload at Forest Hill Walmart this afternoon!

On another note, Walmart in Janaf is Mogadishu.

 

Don't expect them to be able to ship replacements. When I called in to complain about how they shipped mine they told me right away that I couldn't exchange it or get a replacement as there was no inventory available. At best you could get a refund.

 

dang, youre right. I just checked amazon and they're already sold out. What a shit way to do business. Guess I'm going to be figuring out a way to fix it on my own.

 

When I called Amazon about mine (no box shipper or Amazon box) they just offered a 50% refund on the purchase cost. About the best you are going to do. They are not getting anymore. Aftermarket is the only option for getting another and with the QC issues they are going to get their prices jacked way up to take advantage of people looking for good ones. A lot of people are getting ready to dump the mainline figures as the QC is just getting ridiculous. Just let the entire next Earthrise wave or two shelf warm to send the message. Of course it probably will not make any difference.

 

Ironhide is still available so I may grab a second one and play the lottery to see if 1) they ship in a box 2) there is no QC issues or small enough ones that I can live with it/them 3) the spare one if I do not need it can go on to another home.

 

I have an extra new MP-49 for sale for $170. The extra toon head has a malformed antenna hence the reduced price.

 

My Coneheads set came the other day. It was shipped in a box and doesn't have any QC issues. I'm not crazy about the way the white paint looks on Ramjet's torso, but it's consistent with other in-hand photos so I wouldn't call it a QC issue. I got lucky this time around, but I ordered an extra Ironhide/Prowl set to better my chances of getting a good set.

 

First Colonial Target had 2 cases of Seeker 2 packs to stock around 11am this morning
