Transformers Armada PS2 will always be king when it comes to Transformers games IMO.

 

This isn't Devastation 2... this isn't Prelude to Energon.

 

This game is okay for me

 

That gameplay remind me of Fire Emblem. The facial expression is very similar to Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Not everything needs be g1 movies toys comics cartoons games other wise transformers will be lie transformers transform to hide and evolve transformers can evolve and take people who always hated transformers and turned them into transformers fans then original old fans should accept learn to change exactly like transformers to evolve and change not everything needs be g1 new fans don’t like g1 it looks to cartoony unrealistic to them .,

I like transformers armada , some movie games, transformers fall and war for cybertron games those games are nothing close to g1 nothing about it all that is g1

I am unable to play videos I can’t leave comment on this game game play I do like idea new transformers games judge by pictures looks ok

 

This sort of gameplay is really up my alley. I'm pretty excited for this now.

 

Boy oh boy, nobody at Collider knows what a RTS is.

So... basically a cheaper Mario X Rabbids, or a watered-down XCOM. If it's at least competent--minimal bugs, functioning AI and controls, a cool roster of characters--it could be fun.

I'm still needlessly cheesed off that he said "the story is as simple as ALL Transformers stories are" as though we don't have three decades' worth of quality fluctuation.

 

Seems ok for what it is but still looks like a mobile game. I'm generally not into RTS games. I have to be in the right mood and with the right game like Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds or XCOM 2. This just isn't AT ALL what I wanted for a new Transformers game AFTER FIVE YEARS! If it's cheap I'll check it out but with such a tiny campaign that doesn't even let you play as the Decepticons, an arcade mode that does, and a very basic gameplay loop, there's no way in hell this is a $60 game. I'd be willing to pay $10-$15 for it. Primus, I hope the Certain Affinity game is closer to what older fans have been wanting. I gotta say, I am happy that Wheeljack was included as a playable character, he deserves to be part of the core crew in any interpretation and Cyberverse did a good job with him.

I know getting called a “budget title” is the equivalent of a slur but this is a wise move. Not everything has to be a high risk, big budget game.

 

I didn't realize it was RTS before this first impression was posted, I'm out. I hope those looking for that are happy, wake me up in another 5 years I guess.

 

Nope.

Can\'t see this gaining any real traction, unless it\'s released on mobile (as F2P)  and Switch, at a cheap price.  Even then, it\'ll need a lot of marketing to pry the kids away from Roblox, Fortnite and most other free apps.

 

Yeah this game is a no from me.

I got a chance to play it at that same showing. It's a fun little game and even has some cool elements like a cover system. It's definitely geared for a younger crowd but has some fun elements and challenges. I saw a level called Vector Sigma.  

 

This is awful. Why do we keep going backwards from War for Cybertron (and FoC)?
