I have several sofubi figures, mainly Godzilla & his adversaries. Most of mine are boxed up, but here's a couple of my favorites that I can't keep locked up.

Oh wow. Some of these are wicked expensive. So is there like a main couple or sites that are the best place to buy stuff like this? It almost seems exhausting trying to get into these.

You need to figure out what you're actually going for first. Sofubi literally encompasses any hollow soft vinyl toy. That's everything from mass-market Bandai Godzilla and Ultraman figures to designer vinyl that are produced in limited quantities and sell for hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

It's like saying you wanted to get into action figures. You'd have to figure out eras, scales, brands, franchises, etc. that you wanted.

I mean I guess I’d get whatever I kinda like when I see it (and can afford it)? I guess I’m looking for like a “BBTS” or a “EE” that I can go browse on. But if not I get it. I’ll prob just let this go.

Toy Art Gallery, Lulubell, Rotofugi are good places to start. Lots of stores and makers on Instagram, you can search for #sofubi or #softvinyl tags. Very fun hobby with lots of amazing artists and makers.

Yeah, this hobby isn't for everyone. I'm not sure if I would say these are action figures? Are they? I really like the Splurrt stuff that is on eBay. I love monsters, and I also like those different creepy looking monster. These are unique.

Give me one good reason why gold glitter shouldn't be the standard for everything.
