my 3 year old son just discovered G1 skullcruncher and since then it's been a full-time job trying to keep him from breaking that thing, so this figure may have come out just in time for me, LOL

I own Thunderhowl and Meteorfire (at work now, or i could snap a pic) and can confirm that Thunderhowl etc the "Ultra Class" is about the same size as the old Cybertron/Energon or even some of the Universe/Generations Deluxe class figures. They're each around 15 cm or almost 6 inches tall, so not quite a Voyager which starts around 17cm or 6.5-7 inches

 

Yah. If it's still a great toy I'll pick it up if it seems worth the cost, but man, I hope I'm wrong and there is some extra jaw, but it doesn't look like it.

 

More than likely, the trademark for the name freed up.

Wait, no croc mode pics? Does he even HAVE a croc mode?

 

I can see customizers removing the hinge at the end of the snout and giving it articulated jaws, at the cost of the spring loaded gimmick. Some would just take the energon armor, but others would make it deploy in a different way, manually, or just make it detachable.

There is a croc mode picture a couple of pages back, and another of the back of the package, that shows all modes.

 

I already have TR 'Cruncher ('Smasher, whatever) and I need this anyway.
