I didn't see an option for "ship in box". This has never been a thing before. Now I have to call them every time I have an order coming. Even if I choose ship in box I'm gonna have to call them because I no longer trust them.

 

I have Amazon Prime and bought several Studio Series and one Earthrise toys this week. The only check box for ship in box I had show up was for the Coneheads.

 

I just cancelled the Ironhide/Prowl PO I did from the wishlist when first announced, as Gift was the only option at the time (that I saw anyway). PO'd again and now the option to ship in Amazon box is available, which I'm hoping does the trick.

 

I’m in the same boat. When I preordered I didn’t know Amazon had turned into Walmart.  

 

Its been a thing for years. Only certain listings though. They do it with larger items or other items that they deem meet certain things. The pictures below show what the listing will say (top picture is what the site used to say and the app still says, bottom is what the site shows now). Ive seen this option on items of different varieties for 3-4 years.

 

If it was PSd, they might as well put a disclaimer like our members here do.

See that little outer box is the culprit right there. Hasbro is putting these into an outer brown box which could just have a label placed on them and shipped no problem as that's the whole point of the extra layer, which would be fine for everyone but for some reason a lot of these ended up not having that box or having it removed so the shipping label ends up being put on the inner box instead. Hopefully they get it figured out for Ironhide and Prowl so it doesn't happen again.

 

My Amazon order also got canned tonight right before it was meant to be shipped tmrw. Anyone else got this? I have no idea what happened and I'm really bummed

 

Maybe they oversold their initial stock, as with AUOP. Hopefully they'll restock soon.

I really hope that they get more stock for the people who want them and whose orders are being canceled.

 

When I say "This has never been a thing before" I mean I have never had them ship anything to me like this. I have always received everything in a large plain box. This is the first time they just lazily slapped stickers all over the actual product.

Do they do this with paid shipping or only if you choose free shipping? If they're being cheap because I chose free shipping then maybe I should pay for shipping from now on.

Ah, then I misread you. It honestly seems like a combo between the facility and the employee. I am a prime member, chose the free shipping, and asked for it to be in an amazon box and mine was in the hasbro box, IN an amazon box. It was double boxed.

 

If that’s the case that sucks, and double when they might be canceling orders. Mine is t cancelled yet, but I ordered way back in July and would be pissed they pulled this even though they were taking orders a week ago.

 

I got my Ramjet/Dirge set, as well as the ER Prime I ordered. For whatever reason, even though they clearly shipped together, they still kept the Seeker set outside of any packaging with the label applied right on the box itself, and it didn't come in the brown Hasbro box like others were reporting, so I have a big shipping label covering the artwork of the box.
