he didn't post his review yet though, I guess. Personally I dig his bot mode. I see two skates, and nice shield and two guns made from his arms and the orange tips, looks way better than Brunt to me. I don't really care about the spear myself. The dagger is a bonus. His alt mode is pretty decent too. I don't see how your friend can be so dour on him.

 

Trailbreaker is quite the nice one. Looking forward to that.

 

I was put off by his description too. I was begging him to demo the weaponizing bits but he said it just wasn't worth the effort.

 

After seeing the leaks, I think there is a good chance the the titan is the Ark and the companion is a transforming Telatran One

 

I don't have a source, but I believe everyone is getting the Commander waaay off. Some of the leaks have skewed people's thinking. It may be much more predictable than many would like.

ark never transformed into a robot and lets honestly look at what weve gotten in WFC. They’re trying to make everything very faithful to the original cartoon. Same with Kingdom, they’re going to attempt to make the beast wars cast as faithful to their models as possible.

what does that tell us for a titan in kingdom? We’re more than likely getting a new Metroplex. By 2021 it’ll have been 8 years since T30 and T30 metroplex is ridiculously outdated compared to the rest of the titans in Generations

Fasttrack in weapon mode, is supposed to connect with Megatron's weapon to form a spear.

 

The Titan has been described as thin and lanky by someone credible who's seen it, the opposite of G1 Metroplex and rather similar to T30 Metroplex, which seems like something that wouldn't be the case if they were redoing him, since you'd think they'd want to make him closer to G1.

 

Look, I'm right there with you. A giant modular robot would be an incredible feet of engineering and play. Like seriously...I think we all know that's one of the biggest reasons "Titan Ark" is gaining steam. It would be an absolute blast.

Well I shouldn't have quoted anyone. But yeah I think there are enough clues laying around everywhere to make out what is unknown.

 

a credible source? It’s august. We don’t even see a piece of a titan usually till NYCC and it’s usually a small grey component because they’re still in deep in early prototype phase. The titan for kingdom probably hasn’t even had a prototype printed yet or mockup yet.

 

I would love for a new Metroplex but I find that the small things we know about the titan don’t add up in Metroplex’s favour

1 - We are told the titan is ‘gangly’ which is in stark contrast to Metroplex’s boxy aesthetic
2 - He is accompanied by a companion which hasn’t transformed in the past. Metroplex has 3 companions 2 which transform and one who doesn’t, Slammer, who's been leaked as an individual release. This leaves a mysterious companion to join Metroplex who isn’t one of his standard.

i still think a transforming ark sounds dumb and would rather a good Metroplex but I’m not sure its gonna happen

 

even if not metroplex it wouldn’t an the ark because titans actually do scale with everyone. Cities yes but their city modes are intended for micromasters and titan masters and other masters. They’re not cities for deluxes and above. The ark is the autobots ship. How does that look next to the standard class figures? Looks like a shuttle.

 

A titan ark could explain the inclusion of core class Optimus and Megatron to scale with the ark.
