Take a look at Suntreakers weapon in the art, it looks like the back piece transforms into that weapon in the art however in the toy shots ive seen, that back piece is a solid piece, maybe an older design had a transforming weapon? 20200817_140514.jpg

Are you talking about his engine intakes? It has a peg and is his weapon. Apparently you can also leave it pegged into the back to use as a rocket booster or have him hold it in his hand as a weapon

Was talking about this, it looks significantly different than the toy, I suppose it could be squished due to the perspective or art style.

Looks the same to me with the vertical lines running across the front of the intakes and the two little nubs on the top that allow you to align the artwork with the actual piece. The art and toy depict the same thing

Fasttrack looks horrific with those multi directional outside clip-on wheels.
Sunatreaker ... I'm sorry 20 bucks for that much hollowness is just not worth it. Especially after having Wheeljack in hand.
Runamuck looks the best but again the hollowness on the lower legs is tough pill to swallow.
Trailbreaker? Possibly the best. Has hollowness but not like the others. Can silver sharpie the back clip-on wheels

I'm going to be adding him to my made up decepticlone army. He will make a nice light unit.

Makes sense that Air Wave would be huge. He's a friggin airport runway, building and tower. Or a tracked carrier.

It's a shame the toy couldn't be bigger.

That's because people still don't realize that today's digital camera's bring out details that the human eye otherwise won't notice.

Yeah, I'm not feeling that two toned yellow. Hell, it doesn't look that much different than the CW version.

I was meaning like the decepticlones from the Transformers 2004 PS2 video game and since we never got toys of the decepticlones I'm just going to use Fasttrack as a made up light unit in my collection. That's what I was trying to say earlier.

The tower piece was painted black? Huh. Thought it was molded in that color. It would have been nice if Hasbro had left it unpainted to match the orange tower on the original toy. Same thing for the cannons in battle station mode.

I mean, whatever it is, it's clearly towering over trees. So I guess it's some kind of Titan.

It's Airwave. A few pages back it's been shown. And it makes sense for him to be a huge bot because he's basically a chunk of an airport and a Metroplex-lke carrier.
In-story he either transforms into a playset-sized pretend airport runway and buildings OR he would have to mass-shift dramatically like Megatron or Soundwave to shrink down to a normal sized bot.

I remember when Transformers had high quality and heavy plastics, were not hollow, had great and detailed paint jobs for half the price.

    It was glorious.

The last great toy line was TF Cybertron.

    P.S. You know I'm right.
